Just so you know, Alex Russo is tougher than you think - and there’s a lot more to come. You’re asking all the right questions. Stay tuned, #WizardsBeyond has got some magical surprises up our sleeves. #WizardsBeyondWaverlyPlace

Looking for a Halloween movie for the fam? One that’s scary enough to make you grab the popcorn. Not so scary that the kids move into your bedroom until Christmas. 😂 That’s the spirit of MONSTER SUMMER, a film I had the joy of directing. We wanted to capture the kind of spooky adventure many of us grew up watching. I believe families are hungry for more movies they can enjoy together. Something that entertains the kids, keeps the parents engaged, and gives everyone a reason to put their phones down for a couple of hours. If your family loves a little Halloween suspense, grab a blanket, make some popcorn, and watch MONSTER SUMMER on Paramount+. This was an incredible experience and I couldn’t have asked for better producers John Blanford Dan McDonough and Pastime Pictures. They’re just the best! Producers who believe in you and protect you when making sure it comes in on time are a rare breed.

Everyone in Hollywood wants an Oscar. In kids television, we have our priorities straight: we want the Blimp! 😂 Proud that Wizards Beyond has been nominated for Best Show at the Kids Choice Awards! So proud of our talented cast and creative team! It’s been a joy bringing the Russo love to a whole new generation!  I’m also very proud of my son in the show, Alkaio, for getting nominated for best actor. I couldn’t be happier to be nominated alongside him. Go vote now!!! kca.nick.tv/vote/favorite-ki…

Had a blast MCing the Sheen awards! Fulton Sheen has been a hero of mine for a long time, not just because he won an Emmy or got 10-30million people a week to watch his show, but because of the character of the man behind it all.

The future is bright! Loved getting to speak with hundreds of students from NYU, Tisch, Juilliard and beyond about entertainment, culture, and the challenges facing the next generation entering this industry. The big question: How do you break in when the old pathways feel more fractured than ever? My answer: become a multi-hyphenate driven by purpose.  We’re in the generation of the creative entrepreneur. It’s no longer enough to just be an actor, writer or director. We have to think like producers and entrepreneurs—creating value, building opportunities, and not simply waiting for someone to give us one. Disruption creates opportunity, and after meeting these students, I’m incredibly optimistic about what’s coming next. What do you guys think? Big thank you to @nyucatholic for hosting!

Nothing like a Birthday after the birth day!

Hi guys, David graciously let me take over phone to write our “baby is finally here” announcement post. Peter Henrie was born September 2nd, taking his own sweet time, a week late, at a whopping 10lbs 4oz. God bless a woman’s pelvis. Truly. Peter is our rainbow baby. This topic is very meaningful to me because while we talk a lot about rainbow babies, rarely do we see the actual reality of both sides of that rainbow. November of 2023, we buried Isabel. I lost her in my second trimester to a bacteria in severe food poisoning that was literally the most traumatic experience of my life: home alone, kids asleep in the rooms next door, David on a flight. Complete nightmare fuel for the next three years. This birth has been nothing short of redemptive for our family, especially our kids who prayed every single day quite directly and (slightly) morbidly “that Peter doesn’t die.” We are so immensely grateful that he’s here. A lot of primary, secondary and unexplained types of infertility journeys are silent, unseen and lonely for the countless women who experience them. Women, for example, who are asked “ when are you having kids” when all they want is nothing more but don’t want/feel the need to explain to someone the entire story. Thinking of you women today - your stories, like mine, are not defined by these struggles or by the amount of kids we can or can’t have. September 2nd was a massive day of redemption for our family, and we praying today specifically for all you who are looking for your own redemptive birth, whatever that looks like for your family. Sending you a big hug ❤️

Always great to reunite with my friends @jonasbrothers. Thanks to @kevinjonas, @joejonas, and @nickjonas for having me on their podcast at D23! Loved catching up, talking Wizards Beyond S3, and about Maria's and my first children's book, “Is God Bigger Than a Dragon?”!

Very excited to announce Angel and the Badman to you all! It’s been an honor to serve as Executive Producer and have this be a part of Novo Inspire Studios growing portfolio. This is a timely film about sacrifice, love, masculinity, and redemption. Jaimie Hernandez did a phenomenal job leading this project forward and @AngelStudiosInc is the perfect distributor. Where my other parents at? 😂

I’m so excited to finally share something Maria and I have been working on... our very first children’s book, “Is God Bigger Than a Dragon?”!!! 📖🎉 Just announced it on @GMA 🤯  This book was inspired by the questions our own kids ask about God, faith, and the world around them. We wanted to create a story that sparks imagination, points families to Scripture, and reminds children that no matter how big their fears, God is bigger. Writing it together has been a special experience for our family, and we hope it becomes one your family comes back to again and again. We can’t wait for you to read it this November! Preorder on Amazon today at the link in my bio! I’m starting a group chat with everyone who preorders on Instagram! Tag me in screenshots and I’ll add you to our chat to learn more about the book and movement! @AscensionPress

I just gave away $100,000 to a young filmmaker! Because I believe if we want entertaining, resonating and elevating stories, we need to invest in the next generation of great storytellers. That's why we created the Renaissance Rising Film Festival. People often ask, "Where is the next Renaissance?" And the response may be, "Where is the next Michelangelo?" but that’s the wrong question. Instead we should be asking, "Where is the next Florence?" The Renaissance didn't happen because one genius appeared. It happened because a city created an environment where extraordinary artists could flourish. That's the vision behind Renaissance Rising. I believe we're living in the midst of a new renaissance, and if we want great films, great art, and great storytellers, we have to create places that believe in them before the rest of the world does. It was an honor to serve as Chairman of this year's festival and witness so much incredible talent. I'm deeply grateful to everyone who came and or supported this mission, people like Jonathan Roumie, Michael Iskander, Alejandro Monteverde, Ben Everard, Tim Rekart, Andrew Hyatt, and Julio Quintana. Your presence and encouragement meant so much to the filmmakers who are just beginning their journeys. This wasn't just about giving away a check. It was about making a statement: The next generation is worth believing in. And this is only the beginning. #RenaissanceRising #FilmFestival

Hope everyone had a safe and fun 4th of July weekend! Happy 250!

The days are long, but the years are short, the days are long, but the years are short, the days are long, but the years are short.
