Project Lost Light invites professional scientists, citizen scientists, and students from around the world to participate in a challenge to replicate -- or challenge -- pre-Sputnik transient studies using historical (pre-Sputnik) photographic plate collections from around the world. First prize: $75,000 Second prize: $50,000 Third prize: $25,000 The competition accepts data from all pre-Sputnik photographic plate collections, except those from Palomar Observatory. Learn how to detect transients, search for transient hotspots, investigate possible correlations with documented nuclear tests, and see where your own methods take you! Are we alone on Earth, or are we witnessing the presence of another civilization? Stop waiting for governments, UAP committees, or presidents to give you the answer -- go out and find it yourself. The competition is open to individuals and teams who have not previously published research on pre-Sputnik transients. The competition is hosted and independently organized by Research Hub: researchhub.com/grant/32931/… Read more on: lostlightproject.netlify.app… @TylerDiorio @ResearchHub @BrianDoher37387 @BrianMuraresku
