“ In a democracy, successful people pay taxes.”
If you aren’t paying taxes, 1) you aren’t successful, or 2) you are not living in a strong democracy.
JUST IN: Warren Buffett just said Berkshire Hathaway paid a total of $26.8 BILLION to the 🇺🇸 IRS in taxes in 2024
That's roughly 5% of what ALL of corporate America paid

When the Wall Street Journal (owned by Murdoch who also owns Fox News) calls Trump “Mr Putin’s best friend in the world” it is time for Republicans to stand up to this guy. What he is doing is against everything our country stands for. Sickening.

Humiliating and dangerous: Trump has now finally just made America an ally of the Kremlin and is aiding Putin in his war against an American friend and partner. Shameful betrayal of a US friend, and pathetic submission to a US enemy.

Hint: Russia is not our friend and Putin is not a good guy.
(And in case you care about national security, no one will be sharing Intel with us anymore. We are running blind.)

"Putin's Puppet."
-HRC
Ten years ago today.
In just the last few days: Trump made a deal for the U.S. to buy Russian diesel, an economic lifeline for Putin; he and Elon Musk blamed each other for an order that slowed down Starlink satellite connectivity over Ukraine, hampering the country's defenses during a devastating Russian attack; and Trump waived sanctions on Russia that Congress, led by his late friend Lindsey Graham, had pushed for.
Now, Putin has proposed a summit with Trump and Xi to decide Ukraine’s fate for them, bulldoze a century of international cooperation, and frame Russia as an equal to the U.S. and China.
We’ll see if Putin’s puppet continues to dance on his strings.

Little Tommy found out the hard way that the Charlie Kirk method of debate only works on underdeveloped teenage minds.

I had to read this twice to make sure of a cringeworthy fact; this Washington Post story on the el-Sayed exchange w “Tommy“ does not even mention that Tommy is a paid right wing political operative, a staffer for Josh Hawley. Journalistic malpractice.

We can’t even afford to hire school librarians and MAGA thinks we have doctors on staff performing sex changes during recess. Walnuts.

Jesus was mentioned 1,000 times in the bible.
Donald Trump is mentioned 38,000 times in the Epstein Files.
He’s more than just a “background character.”

I was a teacher before law school. I couldn’t convince teenagers to wear deodorant. The idea that teachers are convincing kids that they should get sex changes is utterly ludicrous.

Tommy isn’t a “young kid”
He’s a Republican political director
Abdul continues to hide who he is as he beats up a young kid.
His faith isn’t the issue. His ideas are.
He wrote an oped urging Americans to support the Muslim Brotherhood if they took over Egypt. After they took over, he publicly called for the MB to purge the police and the media of those who oppose the MB. That’s right - purge.
He calls Israel “bloodthirsty”. Who talks like that?
When a Hezbollah inspired terrorist in tried to blow up a synagogue in Michigan, Abdul justified it by explaining, “hurt people hurt people.” The terrorist’s brother was a Hezbollah commander in Lebanon who had been killed by Israel.
Abdul’s mother was a MB member, his sister supported the 10/7 Hamas massacre of Jews and the Obama Administration put Abdul’s sister in law on the terrorist watch list.
Alone among American candidates, the Muslim Brotherhood issued a statement celebrating Abdul’s win in the D primary.
I don’t know what Abdul is. But I know he’s a risk America can’t afford.

DOKOUPIL: A poll found that corruption was the number 1 issue on voters' minds, even more than gas prices. Have you seen anything inside the White House when it comes to corruption that makes you squeamish?
JD VANCE: I've never seen anything like that from the president

I never once remember a protest against Joe Biden like this. This is Boston. No Kings Protest.
Oh that’s right Joe Biden didn’t think he was a king. He just wanted to make America better for everyone.
