This is @RIBA in a nutshell.
They'll speak on the value of young people in the profession, they'll even name you a "rising star" - but they will do nothing to back their words with action or funding.
@RIBA PAY YOUR WORKERS
I’ve now been waiting since May for a payment from @RIBA for work I did for them and no amount of inquiry seems to make a difference

There’s tons of it. Trended on Twitter with lots of discussion of the issue. Can’t see what the problem is especially as they haven’t actually damaged the painting at all. They have opened a legitimate discussion on what is acceptable action on the face of climate disaster.

Probably the only straightforward thing about Van Gogh was what he thought painting was for (“to teach us to see”). So this is entirely appropriate, I think. Shameful that kids are pushed to this.
Activists with @JustStop_Oil have thrown tomato soup on Van Gogh’s Sunflowers at the national Gallery and glued themselves to the wall.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The action was dramatic but the picture was unscathed and is already back on display. The frame was damaged slightly, according to The National Gallery. Adding as context because people might believe the protesters damaged the painting. twitter.com/nationalgaller…
