This is a fantastic illustration showing how quickly water soaks into the ground. Many parts of the UK are currently like the one on the right. Torrential downpours could very quickly lead to flash flooding due to surface run off.

.@Asda has announced that between 25th july-3rd September all children under 16 can eat a hot or cold meal for £1 in their cafes. All day/every day nationwide with no minimum adult spend. This is to help parents with the cost of living crisis during the summer holidays
Nice little visit over to @CrayValleyPM yesterday, @LeeHiggins990 is very happy with the @rigbytaylor R41 Perennial rye blend and how it has taken. Pitch is looking in great nick ahead of the new season. He's even managed to send me a picture of him not having to irrigate 😂☀️☀️
