I think it’ll also eventually lead to a total collapse of deep blue economies in a fairly short period of time. That failure will lead to large segments of their population questioning their economic decisions and may lead them back to sanity. Failure comes before sanity though.

I think folks moving to where their values align is probably the most peaceful outcome we can hope for when you look at the deep divides between the left and right. Hastening that migration might result in the Republic we were meant to be, if we can keep it.
