Michigan State assistant sports turf manager Brian McDougal was back on the field postgame, repairing the natural grass surface at Spartan Stadium.
The field is maintained with support from MSU’s world-renowned Turfgrass program.

MSU professor Trey Rogers developed methods for growing natural turfgrass indoors and then helped create consistent playing surfaces across three countries, 16 stadiums and 104 matches throughout North America for the @FIFAWorldCup.
