so I finally got @paperlike on my iPad and love it. but -- oh no oh no -- now that snap to straight line / shape thing in @procreate doesn't work. anybody else have this issue?
ps - it's @procreate Dreams. it works fine in Procreate. maybe Dreams doesn't have that feature... that wouldn't make much sense though (?) hmmmmm.....
aint gonna lie, freakin out a little bit over @procreate Procreate Dreams. makin big - nay, huge - plans to have a new iPad by Nov. 22nd...
Real talk: MotionShop.co is a direct response to how slow things have been. I've wanted to do things differently for a while - just wasn't sure how. It is *very* influenced by @BrettFromDJ - his story is so inspiring to me. It's basically DesignJoy, but motion design.
Also big shout out to @motionhatch and their conversation with @bradhussey. That interview gave me the strong nudge that I really needed to go forward with this side hustle experiment.

here's the thing: I miss being involved in the online motion community, specifically on twitter. but I left in early 2020, basically running away screaming due to feeling completely overwhelmed and kinda just blasted with information... facts, opinions, hot takes - all of it.
I got back on today with the intention of diving back in. 20 minutes later I quickly closed the tab. I could feel my internal brain-wires starting to smoke and sizzle, just like three years ago. maybe my younger self could handle more without getting overwhelmed or overcome...
