Amol Rajan has left the BBC and his salary, he got full payment for one episode of #TheCelebrityTraitors and now he's back taking BBC money on #hignfy. When will this guy let go?

Joe Tidy just got the sack. Author, Keynote speaker, all the red flags were there.

Adam Brown has been a hard listen on @RadioX this week covering for Chris Moyles. He doesn't spend any time talking to his producer and seems to be in a rush to play the next song. I do wonder why people like him get into Radio if they don't want to learn the craft.

Does anyone know if the rumours are true that Chris Moyles is joining the new GB Music Radio? His entire team is off this week which is unusual, they never take holiday at the same time.

Chris Moyles is on holiday this week so I will be winding the breakfast dial starting with Greg James on BBC Radio 1. It seems he's still on his own.

Greg James is even noting himself that he had to do a 'hand break turn' and classic Radio 1 'whiplash' in reference to the music played. There has been no flow to the music choice so far. I have asked the GenZ in the office if he would listen to this, answer, No.

At one point they even played an entire song that wasn't in English. Breaking up the songs with group chat would help the random song choice but Greg James is on his own. Is he on his own all week?

I have been saying if the Hospitality Industry wants the Government's Ear they must Export to bring money into the UK. So it's good to see Loungers following Wetherspoon* lead but the question is the supply chain from the UK or are they simply buying locally. * aimed at Brits
So, second new opening of the week from Loungers & this one is a very, very special one. I’m delighted to report that after 2.5 years in the making we have opened our first site in Germany. Southville is located in the Rüttenscheid region of Essen & is our 321st overall site.

I finally upgraded to Alexa+ and while you can now have a conversation with her (as you can with any AI) the Old-Alexa functionality has slowed down, eg asking for the Time, Settings Timers, Switching IoT Lights. I have already downgraded to th old voice. I might revert back.

I guess you can summarise this experience as functionality creep where you want to use a product for one use but added features degrades the experience. Facebook being a good example.

Live BBC News is now available on YouTube. A little cart before the horse in my opinion. You put the Licence Fee on the Broadband first, then it doesn't matter where you watch the BBC. But considering its News, it maybe a little soft power into the USA. youtube.com/live/PmmEevogFZg…

It was only a matter of time. Ironic thing is Store control has been around way before the Internet and IoT. Most likely this was attacking old Tech

I haven't seen many Christmas Ads on TV this year - which is nice.

A video was recommended to me on YouTube the other day featuring Jeffrey Archer, I watched it and he died the next day. Now I'm watching one featuring William Shatner, he's 95 and looking great.

It's what happens when you have nothing to sell in return for what you buy. GenX has made Britain and Middle-class buying Nation. Britain doesn't believe in Manufacturing so what can we sell to the World? only our businesses, and even then the buyer benefits from the profits.

I didn't have the option to do Computing, my only option was to do IT which was basically Microsoft Office. This was in the period where our Acorn Computers were running Citrix Metaframe giving us a remote Windows desktop. A smart solution for a small school with limited funds.
In England, students choose just a few subjects (usually 3) to study in the last 2 years of high school, so gender differences in their interests become more visible than in the US.

We had the traditional Acorn Computers of the 90s mixed with the newer Acorn NCs. We also adopted old PCs other schools were throwing out. The biggest downside was if the server went down the whole school went offline. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acorn_…
