I’m Dave Bushaw and I’m fighting for the people Washington sold out.
Workers like you and me built this country, but the political elites have made sure that we've never held more than 2% of the seats in Congress.
I am running to break through that system and we're bringing the whole damn Working Class with us.

Politicians talk big game about the corrupt corporate media, then feed billions to Sinclair & NXST for TV ads.

I'm not asking for you to support all of my ideas, but I am asking to earn your trust and your vote on November 3rd.
If we can trust each other that we both want what's best for our families, our communities, and our own lives, we can have a conversation to work through issues where we might disagree.
In America's 250 year history, less than 2% of Congress has EVER been from the Working Class. Let's bump that number up a bit on November 3rd.

Concentrated wealth is just one tool leveraged by our corrupt political system to keep Working Class candidates from equal access to media & other opportunities to reach voters.
Under KCRG-TV9's debate qualification requirement of $1 MILLION, 30% of candidates across the US would not qualify for their debate.
We need to get big money out of politics, folks, and allow for all candidates on the ballot to be included in debates. Voters deserve to hear all options before voting.

The corrupt two parties will never give us permission to break free from their meticulously-curated system. We gotta just do it.
Vote No Party this November 3rd.

If these politicians want us over in the Middle East so badly, why don't they all just move there themselves? Bye 👋
We got wars to win at home, folks

Building the infrastructure necessary to contend with the corrupt two-party system is a long-term commitment. And it has to start somewhere, or not at all. Two choices: organize, or surrender.
As a community organizer, I've spent years working on some campaigns; learning what works and doesn't, overcoming obstacles, building the scaffolding and resources for the next phase or action. And we work until we win.
Our campaign has built real infrastructure, folks, and what we've learned from the last 337 days on the campaign trail will be an enormous contribution to educating future campaigns in Iowa and across the United States.
Now, let's go make history again on November 3rd. The next phase of our Independent movement starts November 4th. Join us at DaveBushaw.com – at Oelwein, IA
🚨ENDORSEMENT ALERT🚨
"I am a 48 year old Iowan, proud union wife, nurse, and city councilwoman in Cedar Falls. I have been in a toxic relationship with the national Democratic Party since 2016. The party expects my loyalty, but has never been loyal to me.
Democrats running in local and state races in Iowa this cycle give me hope. I am excited to vote for them.
However, the candidates on the ballot who are asking to be sent to Washington, D.C., who say they will fight for the working class, but don’t support policies like Medicare for all.
If given another choice on the ballot, I will vote for true change. I am done with candidates who continue the status quo. In the 2nd Congressional District of Iowa, I do have a choice.
I proudly endorse Dave Bushaw, independent, for 2nd Congressional District. Bushaw has lived the life many of us relate to where money, or lack of money, has been a constant worry. Where poor policy and greed have lessened our quality of life.
I want a candidate who tells me what they truly think, not what they think I want to hear. Dave Bushaw is that candidate."
- Kelly Dunn, Cedar Falls City Councilwoman, Nurse – at Cedar Falls, IA
Cedar Falls City Councilwoman Kelly Dunn is a champion for the Working Class and I'm honored to earn her endorsement in my Independent campaign for US Congress to represent Iowa's 2nd District!
It takes courage to stand on business and fight for what you believe in, and resolve to not break or concede under pressure. Courage is lacking in both the Democrat and Republican wings occupying Washington today. Major players in both corrupt parties would do well to take some lessons from sister Kelly.
Early voting is happening NOW at your local County Auditor's office. GO VOTE NO PARTY!

Replying to @Dave_Bushaw
@Dave_Bushaw is the first "no party" candidate in Iowa, and perhaps in US History and that brand rings true. He's pro 2nd amendment, wants gun safety in schools, but is also pro-single payer healthcare. Bushaw's views are varied and it's clear he's not beholden to any particular party.
Bushaw discusses his view on the "right to work scam," corrects claims he is pro mandatory military service, and defends single-payer healthcare from an economic perspective and not the usual "human right" speech.

Young folks will inherit whatever future we're building today, both our successes and our failures. It's important we leave them a worthwhile inheritance.

🚨ENDORSEMENT ALERT🚨
“Dave caught my attention simply by accident, or perhaps by way of fate. I was led to his social media page and watched some videos, and what he was saying resonated with me. After a lengthy phone conversation and a meeting in person, I left feeling that he’s an honest, blue-collar, intelligent, and wise young man who, like the majority of Northeast Iowans, doesn’t find identity within the current two-party system.
I’ve become worn out from - and am distrusting of - many politicians. And I know I’m not alone.
Do we really have to choose between the lesser of two evils? Or will we help Dave and build something else? He’s proven that there’s a strong hunger from enough people willing to do the work and get him on the ballot. Dave is the first ‘No Party’ candidate in Northeast Iowa to qualify for our ballot in modern history. I want to send him to Washington so he can prove what ‘No Party’ means.
While I may not agree with all of Dave’s policy preferences, I also know that I don’t have to in order to support him. It’s my belief that Dave has the ability and willingness to pull both sides together and find a pathway forward on critical issues.
I ask you to join me in supporting Dave Bushaw at the ballot box on November 3rd. Dave is blazing the trail for the future of our country and a better future for Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District. We can do this, but it’ll take all of us working together to make it happen.”
- Justin Brandt, Black Hawk County Supervisor (District 5) – at Waterloo, IA
We've got wars to win at home, folks. In Congress, I will be as unabashedly opposed to these endless regime change wars around the world. Congress needs 434 more members like @RepThomasMassie. – at New Hampton, IA
This campaign is about identifying common denominator issues and finding solutions to common problems. Black Hawk County Supervisor Justin Brandt recognizes this, and his endorsement is warmly welcomed.
The corrupt two party system relies on keeping us pitted against each other, huddled in our ideological corners, while their political operatives use the levers of government to enrich themselves and their billionaire owners.
As we continue to build this movement in 2026 and beyond, it's going to take a coalition of folks from across the political spectrum finding the courage to put differences aside and face our common enemy together.

🚨Iowa Youth Straw Poll Results🚨
In 1992, Ross Perot's presidential bid was the last Independent federal candidate to win more than 10% of the vote in Iowa, securing 18.71%.
And if this poll is even remotely close to the results on Nov. 3rd, I will be the first non-Democrat/non-Republican US House candidate in OVER 100 YEARS to earn more than 10% of the vote in Iowa, with Farmer-Labor Party candidate F.B. Althouse securing 10.8% back in 1920.
This poll is extremely encouraging. 16.5% is unprecedented for an Independent candidate, especially in a 4-way race with three other legacy parties.
We are taking on the entire political machine, and that means building long-term power for 2026 and beyond. Performing this well in the Iowa Youth Straw Poll shows me that the kids are paying attention to what we're doing here, too.
Here's my promise to you, folks: I'm not going away after Nov. 3rd. We're going to take what we've learned and start building for 2028 and beyond. That work starts on Nov. 4th.
I need your vote on Nov. 3rd if we want to let the corrupt two-party establishment know we're serious about breaking their monopoly on power. We are the Working Class, and we're taking back power that belongs to us.
Early voting starts Oct. 14th at your local County Auditor's office. I hope to earn your trust and support as we build this movement for 2026 and beyond. DaveBushaw.com
