Happy birthday to the late, great John Hartford. 12/30/1937

I heard someone say softball is just "baseball light" for women. Not true. It is really a different, faster game and it's awesome!

There is something really interesting happening in Saudi Arabia.

Cool.

After all these years, and countless games… I finally caught a foul ball.

Maria Morera, at 117 years old, says the secret to her longevity is partially due to "order, tranquility, good connection with family and friends, contact with nature, emotional stability, no worries, no regrets, lots of positivity, and staying away from toxic people."

I just had a brilliant story idea, I thought. I shared my epiphany with ChatGPT and it shut me down. Thanks a lot, braniac!! "In the realm of quantum mechanics, there isn't a theory that directly alters the speed of light in vacuum, as predicted by Maxwell's equations and verified by numerous experiments. The speed of light in vacuum, denoted by 'c', is considered a fundamental constant in physics."

So...another friend is gone. I spent a lot of time with Carl, all wonderful. One night we went to a play in Hollywood and every struggling person asked him (not me) for money. He had left the house without any cash so he kept asking me for cash to give away. All in, I had given away about a hundred bucks. "I'll get you back", he said in that great voice...his friendship alone paid me back a million times over. He was a great cook, as charming as anyone could ever be, he loved his boys...ahh, this is heartbreaking. RIP my friend, #CarlWeathers

I'm listening to Film Hustlers. A great interview with my good friend Jason Strickland #filmhustlers #inthelightproductions everand.com/podcast-show/602… #ReadMore

To those who said I'd never make it as an actor...chew on this!

I was given the honor of editing the Director's Cut of the classic film, RUDY. For those who don't know, this film and HOOSIERS were directed by the same brilliant man, David Anspaugh. I would love for him to do one more sports centered story to prove that he can catch lightning in a bottle three times! Rudy, The Director's Cut is getting rave reviews and will be released on Tuesday 11/14/2023.

Enjoying this book by @DavidVonDrehle this weekend.

In 1959, Volvo invented the 3-point seat belt, then gave free license to all other car manufacturers to use it. The woman in the photo is my irrepressible and endlessly delightful stepmom, Toni Carroll. 1927-2022.❤️
