Hold the fuck on, hold the motherfucking fuck on a second… are people actually out there talking about a Trump win being “inevitable”?
You’re talking about the twice impeached, quadruply indicted, 34-times convicted, adjudicated rapist, business fraud who kept our national security secrets in his f’ng bathroom and wanted to see his VP hanged for not breaking democracy?
The sociopath who golfed while thousands of Americans were dying a day and asked about injecting bleach is some kind of fucking “given”?
The “dictator on day one” who said he could shoot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue and would inherit a Supreme Court that would actually let him? That guy’s winning is already written?
Really?
The child-separating racist who is promising detention camps and mass deportations?
The Putin puppet who’ll abandon NATO?
We’re just gonna surrender to that fucking guy and all the accompanying awful that comes with him?
Now? In JULY?!?
Because he’s got a pantyliner on his ear thanks to a twisted fuck who got his hands on a weapon we’ve all been trying to ban??
Are you fucking high?

History teaches us that any time we refused to separate Church and State, the State takes full advantage of the Church resulting in the weakening of the Church.
When will the Church ever figure this out?

$ 7 million salary #Centerpoint CEO making a statement sitting in front of a thermostat displaying 70 degrees after telling us to leave ours on 76, while 1 million + Houstonians are sitting in the dark in 100 degree heat is diabolical work! @CenterPoint #CenterPointless

I am a Christian,
I oppose theocracy.
I oppose Christian nationalism.
I oppose my religion being co-opted by extremism in pursuit of political control.
I oppose my government being dictated by a single religion, even my own.
May all Christians with these views be outspoken.

No church should allow political candidates to make speeches during their Sunday services - regardless of political party.
Churches that let politicians make speeches as part of their worship time are allowing themselves to be used by earthly political rulers for their own purposes when the just & liberating political values of the kingdom of God will always clash with the self-seeking values of Empire.
Instead, churches should be holding politicians accountable on their policies affecting our marginalized neighbours. Any other form of political engagement for the Church is inappropriate and borderline illegal.

I heard a therapist say “before you diagnose someone with depression, make sure they’re not surrounded by assholes first” and I can’t stop thinking about how many mental health issues Conservative Christianity Theology must cause. +
