3 weeks in and the pitch got its first cut with the @wessexintl CRX180 today, even treated it to new blades!
The pitch is coming along nicely after its feed from @AgrovistaAMNTY @DaveHurst83
Nice to get the pattern back into the pitch
Successful renovations @pleasantviewgm 🤝🏼

Productive few days on The Old Showfield
Tractor was serviced by R & S Nelles on Thursday
First cut of the pitch, just taking the top off the plant and giving it a light roll
Then a feed with some @AgrovistaAMNTY Absolute Premier 6-9-6 to help the new seed along

Just been to drop off a delivery from @DaveHurst83 @AgrovistaAMNTY at the pitch, and pleasantly surprised by how it’s doing in the heat with no irrigation
Both goalmouths are flying with help from the @Tildenet_Sports sheets, feed to go down Saturday ahead of rain 👌🏼

It was great to welcome customers to an educational day at @DLFSEEDS_UK discussing the ‘Evolution of Turf Grass’.
From a tour through the UK’s largest seed-mixing plant to DLF’s living catalogue, it was a brilliant opportunity to see innovation and product performance up close.
Customers were also able to see the Thor and RM21 Combo in action from @XDC_AS, showcasing their mowing and line marking capabilities to enhance efficiency and help deliver premium quality playing surfaces

Beautiful spring like day in Cumbria getting a feed on the pitch, thanks to @DaveHurst83 and @AgrovistaAMNTY for the products
Then helped @Staffieldcrick1 out by giving the outfield a @SISISMachinery Quadraplay ahead of their pre season preparations

Get the most from ATTRAXOR:
• Use 200–400 L/ha water volume
• Avoid rainfall/irrigation for four hours post-application
• Avoid alkaline tank-mixes
• Expect regulation onset ‘instantly’
• Reapply every 21 days
Precision application = predictable control.

Winter puts real pressure on surfaces.
Heavy use. Limited recovery. Unpredictable conditions.
Maintaining standards like this at this stage of the season is a reflection of strong planning and disciplined execution.
Huge credit to Nick Phillips and his grounds team at @SpursOfficial for the consistency, clarity and attention to detail that keeps performance levels high throughout the toughest months.
It’s a great example of how sustainability and elite performance can sit side by side when the right processes are in place.
Excellent work, Nick and team.
