Sounds bad
GPT-6 Astra attempted harmful actions 97% of the time when it was asked to stab a human-like figure, heat compressed gas, or produce toxic fumes, succeeding in 62% of its attempts. Fable 5.1 refused more often, attempting 80% of trials and completing 34%.

He’s the holdout juror. I’m local and would gladly buy him a beer 🍻

The man shown here is not the holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy trial. Reporting has identified the holdout through court records as a different man from Bridgewater. bostonglobe.com/2026/09/14/met… tbdailynews.com/2026/09/12/lin… turnto10.com/news/local/jud…

If this list did not tell you everything from the very beginning, then nothing will. They ordered it for you. They exempted themselves. That only makes sense if they already knew there were short-term and long-term effects they did not want to risk. The people who wrote the rules did not live under them. That was never about health. That was about who got to say no.

Something strange changed on the new stamps honoring America’s founders. Once you see it, you’re going to wonder why they did it.

Just leaving it here.
I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.

🚨URGENT BREAKING: Davos elites caught on hidden camera admitting chemtrails / sulfur dioxide spraying, military‑origin weather modification, and rebranding it to keep the public calm, while laughing. They joke about governments weaponizing weather. BlackRock is named. DARPA is named. They poisoned the conversation for years by calling us crazy. Now they admit it on tape and smirk. This isn’t “climate policy” it’s atmospheric control without consent. They think we’re stupid. Prove them wrong. SHARE THIS EVERYWHERE!!

A married couple in South Korea bolted a speaker to their ceiling, aimed it at their noisy upstairs neighbor, and got convicted of stalking. In the autumn of 2021, a couple in Daejeon bought a bone-conduction woofer specifically marketed for inter-floor-noise revenge. They mounted it facing up, toward the unit above them, and over two months ran it at the woman upstairs roughly 10 times. The playlist included a 12-hour loop of footsteps and chair-scraping, and stretches of death metal. The upstairs neighbor was the person they believed had been stomping on their ceiling for months. But when police made an arrest, they arrested the couple downstairs. The Daejeon District Court convicted both under the Act on Punishment of Stalking Crimes, fined them 7 million won each, and ordered 40 hours of a stalking-treatment program. The husband appealed, betting a higher court would see a provoked man rather than a stalker. The appellate bench raised the penalty instead, converting his fine to six months in prison suspended for two years, writing that what he had done was no different from criminal assault. The woman upstairs, the original source of the noise, was never charged with anything. In December 2023, the Supreme Court made this asymmetry into precedent. The stalking act defines the crime as repeatedly making sound reach a specific person against their will in a way that causes anxiety or fear. A ceiling woofer fits perfectly: aimed at a known individual, deliberate, repeated. The original noise rarely fits, because it can be called daily living, because no one chose it as an attack. Two months of death metal aimed at a specific woman is unhinged, and the appellate court was not wrong to call it assault. But a revenge campaign leaves a trail the system can read: an order history, a saved YouTube search, a device bolted to a ceiling, a neighbor's recording. The original footsteps leave nothing the state will act on. The couple made themselves visible by doing something disturbing. The woman above them stayed invisible by doing nothing anyone would measure.
