45 years ago, at the height of Lebanon’s civil war between Christians and Muslims, Bachir Gemayel warned the West:
“If you don’t understand that our fight is also your fight, a day will come when you’ll have to fight the same war on your own soil, but by then it will be too late.”
His prediction proved prophetic. The ideology that destroyed Christian Lebanon is now destroying Europe, with the same Palestinian flags and keffiyehs serving as its symbols.
