Here's a breakdown sketch I've did on it, though not perfect, does get the point across (hopefully). Note single ball works fine too, and that in the reverse ab crunch, the ball going up to the chest could be reverse and would bring abit more range to the joint, but not by alot.

Giving my two cents on things, feel like these companies heavily need a new hip system, they look like they can barely move up with forcing and may face paint chipping, experienced from my own snail shell figs. Also waist ball joint would be is soooo needed and doable.
Snail shell prove they could do it with one of their new showcase, this is literally almost perfect on how to do it with how much is carved out for the hips and maintaining a nice balled waist articulation, yes it is on a smaller frame but we can also use jada toys as a good ref
$84.99 is a little insane for essentially a better looking marvel legends...
