At the event, our IP lead, @StonkermanIP , spoke about @Aria_Protocol , one of the fastest growing ecosystems on @StoryProtocol .
He educated the audience on how to tokenise their IP (music) and generate revenue from a tokenised catalogue by staking on the platform,they were also encouraged to join the NANA remix contest.
For the Nigerian community, we believe that the event is not just about educating people about @StoryProtocol, but also about representing ecosystems and bringing them closer to the audience.
We also had @moas539 representing the ARIA community, as well as @dele_web3 and @lawal_blanck presenting the Story Community.

Data exclusivity is a massive problem in the ai training data space.
Vendors sell “exclusive” data to multiple buyers and they can’t verify it’s actually exclusive without some audit trail. That is what Trace is.
If you are buying an exclusive dataset you should be confident it’s actually exclusive. The best way to check is to see if that data already exists on Trace.

Big step forward for DATA today. Sui Foundation is making a $30M strategic investment in the network, which makes it DATA's largest holder, above both the DATA Foundation and PIP Labs.
Every asset that became valuable at scale eventually got a system of record, from land titles to share registers. Data is becoming the asset that decides how good AI gets, and it still has none. Most of what models are trained on today carries no proof of where it came from or whether the people behind it ever agreed to share it.
Trace is that system of record, with 275M+ data receipts registered since June. On Sui it can go further. Walrus and Seal let Trace keep an encrypted reference copy of the original data and control who can access it, so every record can be checked against the data itself. That is the foundation for a world where AI training data can be owned and licensed like any other asset, with the people who create it sharing in the value.
I'm also joining Sui Foundation as Strategic Advisor to help build that future across the Sui stack.

Trace registers over 3M data receipts EVERY DAY
Currently, we are able to surface tons of metadata related to a receipt's provenance:
- Did the contributor sign ToS/PP?
- Where did the data come from?
- When was it captured/uploaded? By what device?
This is the 1st major step in making the data that apps like @useKled collect SELLABLE to AI labs
But the next step is actually verifying ourselves that this information is true:
- Scanning the file itself to discover its metadata
- Verifying the data wasn't tampered with
- Keeping the original copy
By storing files on @WalrusProtocol, we can verify that every data receipt is what is says it is
And give frontier AI labs the complete confidence needed to purchase data in bulk
Trace turns any company into a data company
Walrus is becoming the default storage layer for @datafdn and Trace, the onchain registry for rights-cleared AI training data.
Trace records where AI training data came from and who owns it.
Walrus stores the original file, keeping it tamper-proof and accessible only to licensed buyers.
Trace has already registered more than 250M contributions and adds over 3M receipts a day, from apps that license data to frontier AI labs.
The next generation of AI will be trained on data from people, making provenance a procurement requirement. Walrus and @SuiNetwork make that provenance verifiable.

Been following DATA for a long time, and seeing it move to @SuiNetwork is a big moment for the community.
