I wish my fellow tweeps who are on the 2.0 ride the best of luck and I truly hope *y’all* succeed.
@srw @cl0udmaker - thanks for this last year. We built something special. – at Lafayette, CO
In other news I’m @kentikinc now and probably won’t open this app again for a while.
Haven’t opened the bird app in a week. Took 20s to load “for you” and my “recent tweet” rec is from 3 days ago.
Otters AND ML!?! This is the content I want.
Being an #ally isn’t being a judgy hall monitor.
Misogyny isn’t funny.
Rape culture memes are not funny.
Racist tropes are not funny.
Antisemitism isn’t funny.
Anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric isn’t funny.
Pushing back on these makes space for every one to be a part of Twitter.
Poll Thoughts:
1) No Tweep I’ve met would maliciously harm the product no matter how egregious the situation. We all respect our users too much for that.
2) I feel for what’s left of my InfoSec Tweeps. People clearly don’t know the attacks Twitter faces.
After Trump elevated anti-immigrant & anti-Latino rhetoric, we had the deadliest anti-Latino shooting in modern history.
After anti-Asian hate w/COVID, Atlanta.
Tree of life. Emanuel AME. Buffalo.
And now after an anti-LGBT+ campaign, Colorado Springs.
Connect the dots, @GOP.
A trans friend of mine said that after Twitter stopped banning trans harassment, it took only 12 hours before she started getting death threats. Do we have Free Speech if bullies are allowed to make people afraid to speak?
We dug up and stored our Dahlia Tubers today. In early spring we will split them and have even more of these amazing flowers ☺️

This is the epitome of Twitter 1.0 and no amount of money or hubris will ever be able to destroy it. The story behind the #LoveWhereYouWork hashtag.
💙 Tweeps, our bond is unbreakable. 💙
#LoveWhereYouWorked #OneTeam
The misogynists in the replies can Fuck All The Away Off. I can’t believe we’re still doing this as an industry.
My two teams at Twitter were LESS THAN 50% men.
These were the best teams I’ve ever worked on in 20 yrs in the industry.
