$TSLA - MORGAN STANLEY TURNS MORE POSITIVE ON TESLA AHEAD OF Q3 EARNINGS
Morgan Stanley analyst Andrew Percoco is becoming more constructive on Tesla, citing improving execution in Robotaxi and the core automotive business.
Following Tesla's Roadster unveiling, Percoco described the vehicle as a showcase of engineering prowess, highlighting its technological crossover with SpaceX.
However, he cautioned that the commercial potential of a flying Roadster remains uncertain.
🔸 Rating: Equal Weight
🔸 Price target: $400
The key takeaway: Morgan Stanley sees the Roadster primarily as a demonstration of Tesla's technological capabilities, rather than a near-term sales driver.

MICHAEL DELL REVEALS HOW HIS COMPANY COULD SURVIVE AN AI BUST
Dell Technologies ($DELL ) is positioning itself to withstand a potential AI downturn through just-in-time manufacturing and a negative cash conversion cycle.
Unlike heavily indebted AI infrastructure providers, Dell largely builds servers against customer orders, limiting inventory exposure.
• AI server backlog: $95 billion
• AI customers: 6,500+
• Projected fiscal-year revenue growth: 70%
However, Michael Dell warns that memory chip shortages could worsen next year.
The key takeaway: Dell's customer-funded operating model may offer protection against an AI spending slowdown, although weaker demand could quickly hit revenue.

Anthropic has opened discussions with NYC Comptroller Mark Levine after he urged the company to postpone its planned IPO until it addresses AI safety and governance risks.

APPLE'S IPHONE DUO SELLS OUT MINUTES AFTER PRE-ORDERS OPEN
Apple's ($AAPL ) new iPhone Duo saw its initial pre-order inventory sell out almost immediately, with estimated delivery dates slipping from October 23 to November 16–23.
However, the rapid sellout may reflect limited initial production rather than exceptionally strong demand, amid reported manufacturing challenges.
The key takeaway: Early demand appears strong, but Apple's constrained launch inventory makes the scale of consumer interest difficult to assess.

ANTHROPIC'S SLOWING REVENUE GROWTH DOES NOT SIGNAL WEAKER AI DEMAND
D.A. Davidson analysts Gil Luria and Turner Dischinger say Anthropic's slowing revenue growth should not be interpreted as a broader AI demand slowdown.
They point to growing competition from OpenAI and open-weight AI models, as businesses diversify their AI spending.
The key takeaway: Overall AI investment remains on a strong upward trajectory, supporting continued demand for computing power and data center construction.

Elon Musk publicly vouching for Anthropic is one of the more unexpected signals in AI right now.
His words on Dario Amodei: "A very principled person who cares about things a lot. He cares about the future of the world."
On Anthropic's team overall: "No one set off my evil detector. They always seem like they're well-intentioned."
This matters more than it sounds. Musk is building a competing AI lab (xAI), has been openly hostile toward OpenAI, and is not known for handing out compliments to rivals.
For him to break from that pattern and publicly affirm Anthropic's leadership — on character, not just capability — is a meaningful data point about how the serious players in AI actually read each other behind the rhetoric.
The AI safety debate often gets framed as idealists vs. accelerationists. Musk's comments suggest the real fault line isn't safety vs. speed. It's who you trust with the build.

🇺🇸 The AI gold rush just hit a wall. Investors are DUMPING the debt that bankrolled it.
Bonds financing massive U.S. data centers for the likes of Meta, Nvidia, Oracle and Microsoft are trading well below face value, just months after investors were happy to pay full price.
Meta's "Hyperion" bonds dropped to 92 cents on the dollar, Microsoft's "Project Excalibur" fell below 88, and CoreWeave's plunged under 80.
CoreWeave is in distressed territory, with investors now demanding yields near 15%.
Meanwhile, Nvidia lost roughly $270B in market value in a single week.
But the AI math gets more uncomfortable.
Gartner estimates data center owners need $8.5 TRILLION in revenue by 2030 to cover costs and earn a decent return. Expected AI services spending? Just $3.6 trillion.
That's a $4.9 TRILLION GAP, and Gartner reckons 80% of neoclouds like CoreWeave will be gone or absorbed by 2030.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang insists he's "optimistic" and says CoreWeave's borrowing costs are actually falling.
Someone should tell the bond market. It's charging nearly 15% for the privilege.

The move comes amid concerns over market transparency concentrated ownership and trading integrity.
The announcement triggered a massive sell-off and forced a temporary trading halt.
The Indonesian rupiah falls to 18,070 per dollar, nearing its record low of 18,190.
