Parkinson & Kuldeep are old-school wrist spinners; bowlers who beat batsmen in the air, as well as off the pitch. We need to understand & accept that they are unlikely to combine low ERs & SRs like flatter wristies & use them as attacking wicket-taking options. #SAvENG
It took less than an over for people to start saying Parkinson needs to bowl quicker. The kid has got to this level by bowling in a certain way. He might need to develop a quicker ball—as Kuldeep has—but it’s disappointing to see people questioning his method so soon. #SAvENG

Happy New Year everyone! I love this photo of the city centre, taken in the early 1990s. So many modern landmarks missing! Apologies: I can’t remember the source of the photo #rebuildingmanchester

Great to see all the signings @LeighCenturions. Looks like John Duffy is building an exciting squad. Especially glad that @ridy6 is back, and @AndyBracek gets a chance in front of his childhoods team supporters. Go well lads. Can’t wait to get down and watch. #centurions.

Worsley is looking lovely this autumn, & the work to improve the area around #Worsley Delph is well underway. Many of the materials for the work are being brought to the site by barge along the canal, & silt is being taken away by the same route.
