This one’s for the millennials. 🎉 Digimon: The Movie was released 26 years ago today! I’ll never forget stepping into that little nondescript recording booth in Hollywood to voice the starring role of Tai, the leader of the DigiDestined. Back then, I had no idea that what we were creating would become something that would touch millions of lives around the world. Since the TV series first aired on Fox Kids in 1999, I’ve had the honor of voicing Tai in all 10 Digimon movies. Seeing this fandom grow into a global phenomenon has been one of the greatest joys of my career. From the kids who grew up watching, to the parents now sharing it with their own children, to all the fans I’ve met at conventions over the years… thank you for keeping the spirit of Digimon alive for 26 incredible years. One thing I’ve learned from this experience is that the stories we share can connect people across generations. And 26 years later, that connection is still going strong. Here’s to Courage. I was just watching one of the greatest coaches in NFL history give a tour on his Minecraft city in 2026. No way you woulda told 2011 Curtis a Super Bowl winning coach would care about MINECRAFT. So sick. #GoPackGo though.
