Huge must have been a @NintendudeX gap
This week in the #LCS , @GeneralSniper got 7 Solo Kills. This puts him tied for 5th most Solo Kills in a single week of LCS.
The record holder? @DarshanU at 10 Solo Kills in 2014 Spring Week 5 with Team Coast!
It’s been lovely to watch @G2esports in playoffs this split. Their approach to the game is a breath of fresh air. They’re willing to give up drakes and they know how to split push and find creative baron timings and setups on the map. Also respect @BrokenBlade for always pulling out new champs. In a world where K’sante udyr and Aatrox is picked 90% of the time he finds a way to innovate and it makes the games fun to watch. Looking forward to the LEC finals.
League of legends goes beyond addiction. I’m going to be a 40 year old boomer yelling top gap every time I get a solo kill. The dopamine from outplaying your opponent never gets old.
Faker on humility : “ I think modesty is the most important. With a humble attitude, you can listen to what other people say and learn more that way. A glass that is half full can only take in half the water compared to an empty glass.”
It’s beautiful that someone at the top of LoL shares that perspective. There is much more to see when we aren’t holding on tightly to our own perspective.
Have a new video coming out soon on the most undervalued skill in esports. What do you think that skill is?

Congratulations to The Watchmen for winning the NA Legends Invitational hosted by @DisguisedToast! 🏆
Huge thanks to @CaptainFlowers and @AzaelOfficial for casting this weekend.
Had a conversation with a fan I met in a normal game and it reminded me why I love this game and community so much. The league community gets a bad rep but there are also genuine and passionate people. Would love to hear some of your favorite league moments.
I wish words could do justice to my time spent on CLG. If I had to say something, it would be that CLG felt like my home. I learned what it meant to be motivated in something greater than yourself. I learned what it meant to be a team.
I'm forever grateful to everyone at CLG I've had the pleasure of working with through the years. It didn't feel like people were just my coworkers, it really felt like family. Esports doesn't feel the same nowadays.
"The faithful shall be rewarded." Kobe's words that he once said during a 17k gold comeback still ring true for me to this day. If I could take one thing from all of this, if I could just share one thing that I hope we could all carry in our hearts going forward it would be that message.
To keep that faith alive in our lives , in esports. Whenever I see that logo it is a reminder of hope, a reminder that anything is possible. So even though it is the end of an era, I hope that we can still carry even a bit of that faith into the future.
Especially when I meet strangers, workers, Uber drivers, or people I won't meet again, I like saying have a good life instead of having a good day. Feels a lot more meaningful than just saying have a good day and usually puts a smile on people's faces. Give it a try 😊
Nice to be back... took my first break in 10 years and it gave me a lot of space and perspective. Excited to play and learn again :)
Humanizing our solo queue experience: a thread 🧵
After playing valorant for a month straight and coming back to league solo queue, one thing is for sure: league needs voice comms in solo queue. I think the first step to improving the toxicity is humanizing our experience.
1/5
I will be making a more indepth video on this, but I think there has been a discussion on the toxicity aspect of league for far too long. I think we can all do better to focus more on thinking about and creating steps forward and solutions.
Will be coming back to league soonTM, but I'm playing valorant for a month to see how much I can learn and how high I can rank up. Also just because it's fun. Woohoojin is a great valorant coach and he will be helping me out along the way.
Streaming most of the games at twitch. tv/ darshan, feel free to check me out and backseat game as much as you'd like.
Check out the video Woohoojin made about this, it would be lovely if you can support his channel because he coaches a lot of players for free. youtube.com/watch?v=ADSBMb1C…
