I'm sure there are those of you who have felt led of God to do something and you didn't want to do it. Well, I suppose this is one of those moments for me. All the way back in 2019 I felt lead to pry for God to specifically send good gospel believing Christians into online spaces, to "start using the internet effectively." What ever that meant. And then when 2020 came after covid hit I noticed that churches across America started live streaming their services, to which my thought was "Cool God answered my prayer." At the same time God started working in my heart telling me to become a content creator. To which I responded "nope, no way I'm not funny, I'm not a good speaker, and I don't want to replace the church." I believed there was no way God would call me to be a content creator (Which is interesting considering what I had been praying up to that point). Fast forward a few years latter I had dropped out of college because my grades dropped dramatically, I stopped going to church completely after the church I was going to closed it's doors, and I had spent about a year without any Christian interaction. This is how 2024 started for me, I was in a full on sprint running from God, yet for some odd reason I still had time to pray (mostly telling God I would never do content creation). I was extremely depressed and new I needed to get back into church. I started to read my Bible a lot, in an attempt to prove God would never call me to be a content creator, but all I found was verses like (Ecclesiastes 9:10), (Colossians 3:23), and (Titus 2:7). Which eventually lead to me going live for my first time in November. As I had mentioned earlier I was not going to church when I went live that first time, but after I finally went live I was back in church the next day. (Galatians 5:26) Teaches us that if we walk in the Spirit we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. When I finally gave up living life my way I was no longer scared of going to church because God was telling me the same thing every time regardless of what the preacher was saying. Ok all of this to get to what I've actually been avoiding, and what God put on my heart while writing this. Starting with this next stream I'll be adding some Bible reading to the stream. Which is another one of those things I've felt like God's been wanting me to do for a while, and I've just been avoiding it. I'm sorry if this was really awkward to read.
