Water heater dead. Guess I’m going to take this crappy thing apart and see if gas control valve is fixable rather than spend hundreds of dollars.

Man I hope the CCP doesn’t give me a honeypot qt3.14 wife and a 5090 scary stuff.
Chinese bride gifts her partner a flagship GPU at wedding — he breaks down in tears She handed him an ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 that costs around $12,000

Technically any car can fly briefly if you are motivated enough.

Cybersecurity tip of the month: in Entra each banned work in your password protection list normalizes to 1 point. So if you banned Fall and 2026 just add “cat” to it so you can use your old password. C (1) a(2) t(3) Fall(4) 2026(5) hits 5 points and is accepted. Isn’t that neat?
Rotating passwords every 90 days so "Summer2026!" can become "Fall2026!" Security. 👉😎👉

Tomorrow I start my last week as an engineer. I know everybody always hates their job but I enjoyed my time in the MSSP space. Would highly recommend it if you are just getting into IT or cyber. I was allowed to touch so many things you shouldn’t get to touch with no experience.

Can’t sleep have to pick up friend from airport window shopping GPUs I can’t afford. Maybe should buy a couple v100s I don’t even know anymore but everything is getting so expensive. Those maxsun dual b60s are on new egg tho finally if you have cash.

I just stumbled upon the most advanced and vicious hacking attempt I've ever seen. I almost fell for it, in fact. A popup which asked me to delete one of my files and forward the virus to other users, extremely well done.

Favorite things from defcon in no particular order: 0.) making friends who like puter 1.) accidentally meeting @DarknetDiaries and twerking on them 2.) @NotNordgaren being a fellow cat and amazing person 3.) getting stickers from @rekdt and accidentally handing them to another amazing person when I couldn’t find rekdt to load them up with kitty cat stickers (I retained malware inside so all good) 4.) meeting @TracketPacer and @ZackKorman and not remembering till I found a sticker. 5.) pulling a sock out of my pocket instead of my boarding pass at the airport (tsa didn’t accept it) Next year I will be better prepared. What an amazing time.
