The thing I love the most about Di Canio’s second goal is the slow motion replay of Keown being sent to the cleaners. This was Keown at the height of his powers too. He was no mug. Absolutely gorgeous goal.

So I was given an Oasis code assigned for 5-8pm. All ready to go from 4:30pm, get in bang on 5pm, sold out. Tickets showing but you hit the checkout and told tickets no longer available. Farcical system.
Is there a more criminally underrated fun time at movies than Maverick? Just an absolute joy from beginning to end.
Just finished The Gentlemen S2. If there’s a better looking TV or film in recent years I’d love to know where it is. Every frame looks stunning, beautifully shot and lit. The show itself is pretty bloody good too. Emphasis on bloody.
It’s 8:55am and the bloke next to me on the train has just tucked into a Tupperware filled to the brim with curry. I’m torn between being very impressed and utterly repulsed.
I see we’re all doing our Alien rankings again. I love these movies. Some more than others, obviously...

There are certain movies that as you’re watching them you can be absolutely convinced that this might just be one of the greatest movies of all time. This is, as good as it gets.

I know Annihilation is an absolute abomination but I have so much love for that first 90s movie. The 4K transfer is stunning too. Film looks incredible. I’d love to see a whistles and bells Highlander box set given a similar treatment.
