Multiple sightings of a bear have been reported in the area of Kirkbride Drive and Maple Street this morning. Massachusetts Environmental Police also responded.

He was a mentor and friend to many in this Department.  He was always fair and respectful.  He valued the work done here and supported our officers.  Our thoughts are with his family and friends as they mourn his loss.

The Danvers Police Department is saddened to learn of the passing of former Town Manager Wayne Marquis.  Wayne served the Town of Danvers as Town Manager for 35 years, and worked for the Town for 40 years, before retiring in 2014.

🚧🚨 There is a major water main break along 114 on the Middleton line. It is causing residents and businesses in the area to have no water or brown water. The water department is aware and is working on the problem. 🚨🚧
