Okay time to dilute a bit of my edge and what i'm doing as a Polymarket user. My aim in @Polymarket is to; a) find inefficiencies or take +ev bets b) increase my metrics in what I consider Polymarket may value; ➖volume ➖pnl (both metrics on leaderboard) ➖social presence ➖being on the top holder count at resolution (unlikely this means anything but could be valued) ➖rewards from being a market maker Quite a lot of people are still reluctant on using Polymarket, which should be a good thing, if it were easy there would be less edge. If you find any of this helpful feel free to like or ask questions. Let's break through some strategies; 🧵

Polymarket perps would gain a lot more traction if there was a point metric - too much competition in that field against Variational, Lighter szn2, Arcus, TxFlow etc - oh and also if they released more info about a token

Even thought the top prize is $1k, i'm not sure why this team continues to do scammy stuff like this (to make money of course). If you're buying packs on Limitless, you are getting your pants pulled down since they have no multiplier on their combos. Not even sure why those odds are 1.76, better off buying both as single bets, scandalous lol. Odds 1.76 on Limitless, odds 2.33 on Polymarket (2.4 on sportsbooks, Polymarket need to reduce their sports fees and become more competitive as well)

So many Poly chads that i've connected with over the last year and it feels like the sentiment is kind of the same amongst many. From a business pov the token teasing completely made sense - launch fees and then attract more users + launch perps. However, there is a balance that must be found between promising and delivering and the best teams find that balance. Not to say that Polymarket is only used for its token, you should still learn to make money via trading/LP'ing etc and never depend on an airdrop - but people are rightfully gonna be pissed when they get blue balls from too much edging.

It was slightly obvious that something was changing since Luca removed the logo from his name but more surprising was how I had over 5 minutes from this post to buy these No shares on Polymarket, either way, free $400 in less than 10mins

Messi's final match for Argentina today, Need better liquidity but looking to bet Yes on him to get a guard of honour and his sons to join the pitch. Ronaldo post - No may also be decent odds but I think it depends on how others view this international retirement, since it isn't a full retirement. polymarket.com/event/will-me…

Everybody seems to be convinced that this is token related, I do hope so too 😂 I think a Polymarket token would help move a lot of things forward in the ecosystem
I may have a little something to say about this at Token 2049. See you in Singapore. 🔮

I would recommend joining the waitlist, I think $75m is a fair entrance for Jumper's public sale, for a crypto product that is used by many out of convenience and ease. $75m one day after launch priced quite highly on Polymarket as well so I would assume this sale will sell out. waitlist.jumper.xyz/r/JMP-7B…

Transfer markets on Polymarket have probably been the best markets to trade in a while, from a volatility and access to information standpoint. Although, this will unfortunately end in a few days when the transfer window closes. I do hope Polymarket continues to make football more of a focus, they could easily outcompete bookmakers if liquidity was prioritised more (which i think it should be, even moreso since they added fees). This Julian Alvarez market has seen $800k volume, it also currently has a nice $250 LP incentive. I think this one and the Enzo Fernandez markets are the main ones to look out for in the next few days in case anything changes. Gakpo and Rashford also both very interesting markets but they could do with better liquidity first. Also, I think it would be cool if Polymarket added your Buy/Sell points on the trading graph, similar to how they do for perps/memes. Not essential but would be cool.

This article by Unfud was very accurate for calling out Limitless on their BS, who are usually a decent PM but fucked up a bit too far. Several issues in their World Cup competition; - I finished 1st in the competition (World Cup) at the closing time of the competition (in their t&c's) - somehow I ended up finishing 2nd behind Limitless Ambassador Skantan, that wasn't even in the top 10 of the leaderboard (image below) - my points and others in the top10 had their points slashed for no reason. - T&C's stated that wash trading would be prohibited - looked through the activity to find that 1st place Skantan was indeed wash trading - team pays him out straight away with no 2nd checks - he also had insider information about a point boost before any user knew. - I and many others received their payment 2 weeks late, Limitless ambassadors got preferential treatment - paid straight away - many such cases but not going to @ them; Skantan, Leafswan, Uthman (Limitless' African syndicate lol) - The most fucked up part was that you can also see how the Limitless team created fake users on the leaderboard (appeared on the last day of the competition) - to save themselves maybe $20k? Even though they amassed around $1m in fees from the competition itself - completely weird to make such a low effort scam fake usernames (in article & 3rd image), even though it did not impact me - I addressed this concern to a team member who of course didn't want to comment - these fake users were found to be freshly addded through their code which the team slipped up on. - Lastly, a lot of users were eliminated for washtrading, which sucks because in that top10 alone i would say at least half washtraded (buying and selling repeatedly in a short timespan) - i found a better system of just buying in bulk and holding until resolution/dumping at 100c, which would not fall under the washtrading category - unfortunately it didn't matter anyways haha.

Man City Yes and Chelsea No both cooking, it's a shame people only buy once they see Fabrizio tweets from today 😅
Let's see but I think Man City desperately need an addition in midfield after losing Bernardo and soon Rodri. I don't think Anderson would be good enough to carry their midfield (other options; Kovacic, Reijnders (could leave), Nico) Not good enough to compete against Arsenal Enzo to leave for UCL football at 32c seems decent value

Decent picks so far, definitely should've put more on but it's been a few weeks since I traded, just waiting for football season to come back 😂
Who will attend Ronaldo's Wedding? I've taken a few bets, the Messi one is just a wild punt because Antonella (Messi's wife) and Georgina Rodriguez seem to be good friends. I think Piers Morgan (35c) and Quaresma (46c) are both very undervalued, Quaresma is a very good friend of Cristiano, retired (no footballing commitments) and lives in Portugal. Piers Morgan also being a very good friend of Ronaldo, who confined in him when addressing his Man U issues on Piers Morgan's media platform. polymarket.com/event/who-wil…

Who tf made the decision of giving the golden ball to Rodri 😂😂 Worst final i think i've ever watched as well, atmosphere was dead and pitch was in terrible condition and slowed down the tempo so much, shitshow.

Announcer bets are back on Polymarket! There are notably a lot more options, finally Kind of mixed it up for these last 2 matches but the liquidity seems to be pretty good. It is kind of difficult when there are new words and not much data to go off of but i'm just trying to go off of what seems to be misvalued. polymarket.com/event/what-wi…

After yesterday there is no doubt in my mind. I should've taken this bet at 50c before the Argentina game but I was titled because I thought Bellingham had a good tournament. Current 2nd favourite is Cubarsi and then Rodri, both nowhere near the levels of which Messi has hit this World Cup, the GOAT
