Benny Johnson is asking a question Barack Obama’s critics have been raising for years: Who gets to accuse others of weaponizing government against political opponents?
After Obama accused the Trump administration of targeting Rep. Ilhan Omar for political reasons, Johnson fired back, pointing to the 2017 Russia interference assessment and accusing Obama’s administration of politicizing intelligence to undermine Donald Trump.
That’s a serious charge—and one that deserves scrutiny, not blind loyalty to either party.
If political power was used to damage an opponent, Americans deserve answers. But if accusations are going to carry weight, the evidence must stand up to examination.
So here’s the real question: Is this a legitimate debate about government accountability, or are both sides applying different standards depending on whose party is in power?
🇺🇸 Should former presidents be held to the same standard they demand of their political opponents? Sound off in the comments.

I have one question for @EmmanuelMacron... How does any self-respecting MAN let his entire country burn to the ground and literally do nothing?
I'll wait 😎

🚨Retiring Congressman Jerry Nadler will return home to New York under indictment for insurance fraud.
Nadler, who gained sympathy from his constituents when his Long Island home burned down on Christmas Eve in 2017, now stands accused of defrauding Allstate for more than $2 million.
"Congressman Nadler filed claims for several works of art, watches, and other high-value items that he still possesses," said Long Island District Attorney Malcom Reynolds. "Being a retired congressman doesn't make him above the law.
Reynolds says the grand jury is convening next week and should return several felony indictments by late December.
"His homecoming won't exactly be welcoming."
