That's a feel-good win if I've ever seen one for the Flames. Cooley was immense, young talent (Gridin, Parekh, Castagna) stepped up huge. Every player dug in.

I've quite enjoy myself watching this game. Win or lose for the Flames, this has been some good, fun hockey.

Definitely not saying it's the Flames' best line, but my favourite line personally is Klapka-Castagna and whoever they've got playing with them. Just like the energy they bring and the way they push for possession deep.

For one Ontario hockey coach and Flames fan, Castagna and Suniev call-ups were special - Calgary Herald calgaryherald.com/sports/hoc… via @calgaryherald & @DannyAustin_9

David Manning is the hockey coach at St. Andrew’s College, where he’s coached both Aydar Suniev and Jonathan Castagna. He’s also a lifelong Flames fan, so it was amazing seeing two of his former players get called up on the same day by his favourite team calgaryherald.com/sports/hoc…

An absolute legend. George Hopkins IS Stampeders football.
Calgary Stampeders
@calstampedersOct 15
Thank you, Geo. ❤️ Equipment manager George “Geo” Hopkins has elected to step down as the team’s equipment manager at the end of this season. He's been an integral part of the Stampeders organization for 55 seasons and will work his 1,094th game on Saturday. He will be remaining with the team in another capacity. 🗞️ stampeders.com/article/georg… #TogetherWeRide

After that Pospisil goal, they’ve really gotta do it now.

Super tough for a guy who has been hit hard by injuries early in his career

What a shot by Aydar Suniev for his first NHL goal. That looked like a missed opportunity, but Coronato sticks with it and somehow Suniev finds a pocket.

I mean, the puck went in and Yan Kuznetsov appears to be getting credit but from the press-box I have absolutely no idea what happened or how it happened

Getting called back for offside anyways, so who cares? I guess

That pass from Nemec, that skill from Coronato, that finish from Frost. Just a super pretty-as-pumpkin-pie goal from the Flames. No less than they deserve

No Honzek at Flames practice today, but the lines, from what I can tell: Suniev-Frost-Coronato Gridin-Strome-Tsyplakov Sharangovich-Backlund-Farabee Othmann-Pospisil-Klapka Bahl-Nemec Kuznetsov-Whitecloud Middleton-Parekh

And what a moment for Jonathan Castagna, getting his first NHL point. He was suitably excited.

Adam Klapka, man. What a goal. The Flames needed that.
