What if we were THIS close to a world without nuclear weapons? My new reaction video breaks down the film “The Brink of War” and the wild 48 hours at the Reykjavík Summit — when Reagan and Gorbachev nearly agreed to eliminate nuclear weapons entirely. instagram.com/reel/DeaGbswjW…

“Nuclear weapons haven’t changed, but the system around them has—and it now amplifies the risk of nuclear escalation, nuclear war, and renewed nuclear proliferation as states conclude they are increasingly exposed in a world without guardrails.” preventnuclearwar.org/the-ir…

50 members of Congress have now signed onto H. Res. 317, the Back from the Brink resolution calling for a new approach to how we keep people safe from nuclear danger—one grounded in realism, human dignity, & the belief that every life is worth protecting. preventnuclearwar.org/50-voi…

The tick of the Doomsday Clock reminds us how close we remain to a global catastrophe. The threat from nuclear weapons is real and is growing. Rather than expand arsenals, we should work with Russia and China to reduce and de-risk, toward eventual disarmament. nytimes.com/2026/01/28/us/do…

My reaction video to the Doomsday Clock being set 85 seconds to midnight. It tells us how close we are to catastrophe…but it doesn’t tell us what happens next. We decide that. instagram.com/reel/DUEUN4bkl…

With the Doomsday Clock at 89 seconds to midnight, the nuclear risk is real. As a cosponsor of H.Res.317, I believe Congress must restore arms control, rebuild diplomacy, and show visionary leadership. We need a world free of nuclear weapons. cnn.com/2026/01/27/science/d…

A push to restart U.S. nuclear testing is built on misinformation. No country except North Korea has exploded a nuclear bomb in nearly 30 years.Testing again risks a global arms race and harms already‑impacted communities. Never again. 🎥 2‑min. explainer instagram.com/reel/DSagJXkDW…

Grateful to @RepMcGovern for speaking out so clearly urging Congress to reject any return to nuclear explosive testing. The human cost is too high, the scientific justification nonexistent, and the global consequences catastrophic. We must not repeat history’s worst mistakes.
Resuming nuclear testing is not only unnecessary, but also a stupid and destabilizing waste of money. We’ve already spent billions ensuring the current warheads are safe without testing. Instead of creating new tensions, our leaders should preserve the testing moratorium and focus instead on preventing a new nuclear arms race by pushing for a world free from nuclear weapons.

🚨 Just 100 days until New START—the last U.S.-Russia nuclear arms treaty—expires. No limits. No oversight. No accountability. Watch my 60-second explainer on why Congress must act now to support #HRes317 & #SRes323. instagram.com/reel/DQXGfbujz…

🎬 A House of Dynamite captures the urgency of nuclear crisis—but there’s more to the story. ✅ What the film dramatizes with chilling accuracy 🧠 What real-world risks deserve more attention 💰 What we’re spending—and what we’re sacrificing preventnuclearwar.org/the-re…

🎬 Just watched A House of Dynamite—and I’ve got thoughts. This film hits hard—and raises urgent questions about nuclear policy, accountability, and the myth of deterrence. Watch my reaction. Let’s talk about what comes next. youtu.be/UgVp9dNLPxk?si=i-XN… via @YouTube

“We Will Not Be Quiet.” The same budget that funds nuclear weapons is shutting down hospitals and cutting SNAP. This is policy violence—and a moral crisis. Read my latest reflection in Faith in Action: Moral Courage for a Nuclear-Free Future 👇 tinyurl.com/3mr579at

Grateful to @RepAOC, @RepMcGovern, @RepJayapal & @RepMarkPocan for speaking truth to power. While communities struggle to fund schools, clinics, and climate resilience, Congress is poised to hand the Pentagon over $1 TRILLION. Real security starts with accountability.
We’re told there’s never enough money for healthcare or education, yet the House is voting to hand the Pentagon more than $1 TRILLION. @RepAOC, @RepMcGovern, @RepJayapal and I have been calling out the military-industrial complex and demanding accountability for our tax dollars for years! Check out our video below.

🔥 Kathryn Bigelow is back. Netflix’s A House of Dynamite drops Oct 24, and the trailer is already setting nerves on edge. A lone missile. No known source. DEFCON 1 panic. And a cast stacked with Idris Elba, Rebecca Ferguson, Anthony Ramos & more. youtu.be/0w6wUqWU3yU?si=DNeg…
