a girl posted her first intro on tech twt. a new grad looking to be braver w/ sharing her projects. welcomed w/ being called a CCP plant, asked abt last blowjob, and that she's selling her body. comments our culture is responsible for. this is common. this is a post w/ 3k views. many comments blocked before the public sees, but the notification still shows to the girl who put herself out there to our community. as building has become mainstream, there are many girls in high school who have just discovered building, knowing no one in the scene. just like how a lot of us fell deep into the passion of building and not feel alone from the excitement of this community. but recently, these girls vulnerably share their first passion projects to be met with sexual hostility. many of you will dehumanize the people below to distance your humanity from the rot, but we actively nudge drifts to tech cultural identity. through every joke in passing, like, and view. the second photo isn't trolls. it's verified accounts with real followings, and it pulled 2M+ views and 25K+ likes from people, some likely our mutuals, who thought it was harmless. we need to be aware that engaging with low-hanging fruit posts (right photo) poking fun about women, have secondary effects that enable comfort for posters (left photo) sexually harassing the many new women discovering building for the first time. everyone was naive when they were young and first started hacking on new things. sensitive to feedback and figuring out how things work. for the new people exploring the scene, it's worth understanding the secondary effects of the content we engage with that seem like lighthearted teasing at first. a lot of us don't see these uncomfortable comments before the poster hides it. we need to be aware of the harm from the evidently not-so-lighthearted teasing our culture promotes.

> started @fdocinc artifact 5 weeks ago > pivoted 1 week before demo day because old idea was not a problem space I was interested in > waymo dropped how they're using genie-3 for their world model : waymo.com/blog/2026/02/the-w… > also was heavily inspired by @hugothomel 's world model demo i'm going to take a bet that world models will improve as fast as we went to gpt-2 -> gpt4.5 in the next 2 years or so. I believe that there will be many cases, such as driving, where we can create high-quality synthetic data via these world models as opposed to having to manually collect data. Now anyone can train a SOTA FSD system.

for those wanting to do something similar I'm using huggingface.co/robbyant/ling… they have not released their fast version yet (the version that they claims rivals genie-3) so you have to post-train it in order to get an interactive/real-time.
