AI labs have been optimizing the architecture of individual models. But as agents get more capable, swarm org architecture may become just as important: hierarchy vs decentralized coordination, specialists vs generalists, who gets authority, who talks to whom, how disagreement gets resolved. Do they copy human org designs, or make their own agent-optimal ones?
Feels like we’re going to spend a lot more time figuring out how groups of agents should be organized.
After product release, there’s a feedback loop phase - of learning customer needs & product failures from new product introductions, to inform the next product introduction. Shortening this learning loop will also be a critical focus of AI
