My issue with #theacolyte isn't "wokeness" ,or the need to be inclusive or any of that other crap others get pissy about. It's the fact that on paper this show sounded dark, the premous is dark. But.. What we got was something that feels very soft and fan made.
I think the reason female fronted bands aren't as supported as male fronted bands isn't because people see them as less talented but instead the fact that the bar is set so fucking high by Hayley from @paramore and Lacey from @flyleafmusic
