West Ham United captain Jarrod Bowen has committed his immediate future to the club by signing a revised contract.
Bowen has agreed to a contract adjustment which, according to sources, does not extend the deal beyond its expiration of 2030, but ensures he commits his future to West Ham for the 2026-27 Championship season.

This is what is so frustrating about our club: dirty laundry is consistently put out there with false & misleading information
It gets to the point where anything that is reported, however true, can't be trusted when simple things like this are either grossly misreported, deliberately or lacks basic fact checking
West Ham partially paid off Brazilian defender Luizao by terminating his contract by mutual consent.
Luizao was a free transfer from São Paulo in January 2024 under Tim Steidten and David Moyes but sadly never reached the standard required for the Premier League.
Contrary to reports West Ham never received any permanent bids for the Brazilian centre back and loan bids only offered to pay a tiny fraction of wages.
A club insider “We never turned a bid down for him, we partially paid him off , there was a saving for the club from a player who sadly wasn’t up to the standard we needed. He’s a small gamble that went wrong”

West Ham United can confirm that Michail Antonio is in a stable condition following a road traffic accident this afternoon in the Essex area.
Michail is conscious and communicating and is currently under close supervision at a central London hospital.
At this difficult time, we kindly ask everyone to respect the privacy of Michail and his family.
The Club will make no further comment this evening, but will issue a further update in due course.
