Você provavelmente já ouviu dizer: "Beba água, mesmo quando não estiver com sede." Hoje eu lhe digo: "Ore, mesmo quando você não estiver com vontade." Porque, assim como seu corpo precisa de água, sua alma precisa de Deus.

Today is #WorldTourismDay and it always reminds me of a favorite quote from Aldous Huxley: "To travel is to discover that everyone is wrong about other countries."

One day your career will end. Your possessions will belong to someone else. Your body will return to dust. But your soul will still exist. Prepare for eternity. Trust in Jesus Christ today.

Winston Churchill was a very wise man.
I always love this quote. We’ve all had enemies in our life- people who saw us as a threat when we were not. People I’ve prayed for. People who can hurt us deeply. Just remember it’s usually about them, not you. Regarding politics- it’s as sensitive as discussing religion. Share your truth with a smile and facts. Be prepared and then stand your ground. Never apologize for being honest.

Flight 93 passenger Todd Beamer’s dad narrates a new ad attacking Abdul El-Sayed for campaigning with Hasan Piker, who said America deserved 9/11 and was worse than Al-Qaeda. Watch this.

This is one of the best and most moving political ads I have ever seen. New York... Vote BLAKEMAN for Governor this November. There are tons of 9/11 families in NY who feel this way. This type of pain doesn't fade. These kinds of wounds never fully heal. Do it for them.

I need to make a very PUBLIC announcement on behalf of younger GenXers and older Millennials. If you see someone in their 40s or 50s who seems a little boring now, I need you to understand something... We already got it in. Like...GOT. IT. IN. We are not sitting home on a Friday night because we never knew how to have fun. We are sitting home on a Friday night because we have seen enough. We went to parties in houses that should have been condemned and were almost certainly owned by the local drug dealer. We saw police lights and RAN and not across a nice, flat field. INTO THE WOODS. Do you understand the athleticism required to hurdle uprooted tree roots in platform shoes while simultaneously trying to keep your low-rise jeans from sliding completely off your ass? And somehow...we never spilled the Zima. We never spilled the Boone’s Farm. That was TALENT. We slept on floors in strange houses because the designated driver either never showed up or, in a shocking turn of events, was drunker than everybody else. There was no Uber, Life360 or Find My Friends. There was just somebody named Mike saying, “I know a shortcut.” And we FOLLOWED MIKE. We closed down bars and then decided the night was still young, so we drove to Atlantic City, where we somehow managed to get drunk, sober up, get drunk again, sober up again and then get drunk a THIRD TIME before breakfast. And according to our parents? We were at Michelle’s house. Eating pizza and watching movies. Michelle’s mother unknowingly covered for approximately 17 people every weekend. If there even was a Michelle. We drank things called Purple Passion, Mad Dog 20/20 and whatever somebody mixed inside a giant plastic garbage can. Nobody asked what was in it. You grabbed a red Solo cup and trusted the process. We went to clubs until the lights came on. Do you know the psychological damage of seeing a nightclub with the LIGHTS ON? Nothing good happens after those lights come on. We danced for four straight hours in shoes that permanently altered the structure of our feet. We made entire plans without cell phones...no texts, dropped pins or group chats...just an extremely questionable sense of direction. We rode in cars with 11 people when the vehicle legally seated five. Someone was always sitting on someone. Someone was always in the hatchback. And there was always one friend yelling, “DUCK!” when we passed a cop. So yes...now we like being home. We like sweatpants. We like cancelling plans. We like saying, “That sounds fun!” with absolutely no intention of attending. We like restaurants at 5:30 because we can get a good table. We like being home by 8:17. And if someone texts at 9:30 PM and says, “What are you doing?” Sleeping...we are sleeping. Because this is not boring my friends...this is retirement. We already played, partied and danced on the bar. We already ran from the cops through a wooded area dressed like a Spice Girl. We have stories that cannot be posted because there are still people with careers, marriages and reputations to protect. And thank GOD there were no camera phones. So kids, when you look at your Gen X and older Millennial parents sitting peacefully on the couch watching Dateline at 8 PM and think: “God, you guys are boring.” Sweetheart...oh sweetheart. You are looking at retired legends. Put some respect on our names. We're probably the reason Life360 was invented. xoxoxo (posted from someone else on FakeBook) 🤣 #genx #oldandtired

It has been revealed that the City of Asheville, NC, will reportedly rebuild only 8 houses using the $225 million grant it received from the Trump administration following Hurricane Helene. That's correct…..Eight.…out of 11,488 damaged homes. The city allocated only $3 million for home repairs. Meanwhile, $14.9 million was allocated for “administration.” That means nearly five times more was allocated for administration than for repairing homes for people affected by the disaster. And that's not the worst of it…. More than 100 approved families are reportedly currently on a waitlist for assistance that they may never receive. After receiving the $225 million federal grant, Asheville residents deserve answers about exactly where the money is going — and how much is actually reaching families whose homes were damaged or destroyed. @asheville @AvlWatchdog H/T Deep Leaks

25 years ago at 8:46 a.m., the first plane hit the North Tower of the World Trade Center. The second plane struck the South Tower 17 minutes later at 9:03 a.m. Nearly 3,000 people were killed that day in New York City, at the Pentagon, and on the four planes that were hijacked—fathers, mothers, children, grandparents, first responders, members of law enforcement and the military. Our nation and this world have never been the same. I was at Ground Zero in the aftermath, and it’s impossible to describe the tremendous amount of pain that I witnessed. President George W. Bush declared a National Day of Prayer and Remembrance and asked my father @BillyGraham to address the country from the National Cathedral. During that service, my father said, "We’ve always needed God from the very beginning of this nation. But today we need Him especially. We’re involved in a new kind of warfare. And we need the help of the Spirit of God." Just as America needed the help of God then, we still need His help today. My prayer for our nation is that we will continue to turn to the God of Heaven who has brought us to this day and sustained us every step of the way. #NeverForget

If you’re really a good person you don’t have to waste time trying to prove it to anyone. Whether someone notices or not it shouldn’t matter. Just be a good person without having to prove yourself to anyone.

Big Tech wants to build massive data centers across Arizona. Here’s a modest not so tongue-in-cheek proposal: start with Washington, D.C. Empty out the IRS and Department of Education buildings, repurpose the space, and leave Arizona’s water, power, and neighborhoods alone. Younger Americans get it. They are sounding the alarm on Big Tech, data centers, AI, privacy and yes, even Big Government. Maybe the idea isn’t so crazy after all.

As a woman speaking, can we please remove the terms "liberal" when we refer to women supporting Lindsay Clancy. . This isn't political! This is about children dying, period. #lindsayclancy

🍠 “My 87-year-old neighbor just dropped potato wisdom that saved me $200 this year…” She pulled out a plain cardboard box, sprinkled a handful of baking soda like it was gold dust, and whispered, “This is how we kept potatoes through the whole winter back home — no fridge, no chemicals, no sprouting.” I thought she was joking… until I tried it. Old-world potato preservation hack: 1. Place your potatoes in a cardboard box (breathable = key) 2. Generously dust them with baking soda 3. Tuck the box away in a cool, dark place (closet, pantry, under the bed) 4. Watch them stay firm and sprout-free for months No more mushy potatoes. No more throwing away half the bag. Just simple, forgotten knowledge from a generation that didn’t waste a single thing. Who else is bringing back grandma’s tricks in 2026? Drop a 🥔 if you’re trying this! Save this before your next grocery run. Your wallet (and your potatoes) will thank you. ❤️

Something that’s been on my head and mind for the last week. Had a 17 year old work for me last week (just a day job). He has a 14 year old girlfriend, and they have a 4 month old baby. Don’t believe in abortion, praise God. I asked how I could help and he asked for a job. I don’t have any consistent work in that area. I have reached out to a few companies trying to help him get a job. He lives in an area that was decimated by Obama’s war on coal. He has no family support as he moved out at 15 cause his parents are on drugs. I’m looking for suggestions and ideas as to how we could help this young family.
