Nothing worse than when players the team should be trading continually get injured
According to a team source, Cam York has been placed on injured reserve. The #Flyers are pretty banged up right now and need room if guys cannot play. York has not played since Oct. 8 due to an upper-body injury.
So, playoff games are important to young players development but important 3rd period minutes isnt ?
You're going to be annoyed about the Michkov discourse if you keep defending the idiocy . You're not being genuine if you defend playing the better players less than the worst players. You ignore the obvious disdain the coach has for the player.
Now that Tocchet has been asked about Michkovs minutes and hes been talked to by Briere again. He'll split Michkov and Martone up now . Minutes will be even less. Watch
Tocchet has no clue how to help a young star player reach their potential. His whole philosophy, his approach to the game is broken. Add in the fact that he has personal vendettas towards those young stars. He spews bullshit and doesnt align with his actions. Hes terrible.

Last night felt like a changing of the old guard. The new leadership group will be Martone and Michkov. Others in the room who have/had a problem with that need to be moved out .

Everyone knows how much I love the Rocky movies. So it's a great touch for this year's player of the game award to be a pair of boxing gloves. Jase will pick the 2nd recipient after the next time the Flyers win.
Coincidentally, when I was driving to the arena yesterday, I listened to the Rocky Soundtrack Suite. Normally, I listen to a podcast (hockey or wrestling) or to classic rock.... although Toto's Africa still oddly finds me whenever I channel surf or walk into a store.
Anyway, I couldn't help but think about @jasonmyrt and some ongoing personal stuff in my private life, when "Going the Distance" was on.
Specifically, during the unforgettable part that's timed to match Apollo's knocking down Rocky in the 14th round, Mickey yelling "Down, down! Stay down!" But Rocky gets up and dominates the remainder of the fight. That's Jason.
It's ok to bitch about Michkov and Martones TOI. It's ok to be mean to people that say you shouldn't or can't. Uncle Dan says so
