Huge shoutout to our fans for bringing it tonight.
It was an amazing FC Dallas win and it’s fun to watch our version of the Bash Brothers score goals.
So, I got called out at our season-opening press conference for my shoe selection.
Yes, I did wear them for @FCDallas, the @Chiefs and also our new partners, @SLBenfica.
Proud to be partners with such an outstanding club with a rich soccer history.
Today is hard. I’ll attend my first Super Bowl without my mom. She attended the first 57 Super Bowls without a miss. The only woman to see them all.
She was so special.
Mom will be cheering her Chiefs from heaven today with my Dad.
I miss and love you both so much. Go Chiefs!
We are so proud of this accomplishment.
9 matches, 4 elimination matches, including a semifinal & great group stage matches truly do make DFW the epicenter of the World Cup in 2026.
The chance to host things like the IBC, referee HQ & base camps are still there for us to land.
"This could still be the epicenter of the World Cup"
FCD President Dan Hunt spoke about the potential for Dallas to host the International Broadcast Center and Referee Headquarters, in addition to its Semifinal & 9 matches in 2026.

It’s always great to welcome the @FIFAWorldCup team to the Metroplex.
I’m really proud of the bid that @FWC26Dallas group has put together.

Love the sacrifice the guys made on Saturday night for each other and the team.
Pumped to be back in the playoffs and thrilled that we get to share this together for Game 2 at @ToyotaStadiumTX.
When you watch this play you realize what an incredible goal this is.
The finish is high level but the buildup is truly beautiful soccer.
That second goal wasn’t too bad, either.
Let’s hope for a lot of more of this!
It’s an honor to have the Lamar Hunt Family Trophy awarded to the @DALOpenTennis Singles Draw champion.
My father loved tennis and I know he would be so proud that it’s back in a big way in Dallas.
I had the honor of meeting Pele with my dad & it felt like the entire world stopped. He truly was the greatest of all time.
Thank you for bringing joy to all of us & for being the catalyst that changed soccer in the US forever.
Condolences to his family, friends & fans.
Rest in Peace to @Pele, the King. 👑
Pelé brought an unprecedented wave of enthusiasm to soccer in the US in the ‘70s and spread joy across the world throughout his legendary 82 years. His impact was recognized as he was elected to the HOF in 1993.
He will be missed 💔
