I have never heard music. Ever. For 9 years I attended my children's band, dance, color guard, and choir competitions or concerts. I sat through them in silence. I didn't look at my phone unless I was taking their pictures. I waved when their faces searched and found mine. I applauded loudly when they finished. I complimented their hard work and effort. I paid for the equipment, uniforms, trips, tickets... and I never heard them play an instrument... their singing voices...the music they danced to... That's love.
