Anyone else in @Ontario notice how we raise the speeds on highways just to decrease municipal to 40 km/h so we can have crap plow service this winter ?🤷

Hell ya. I might actually watch this one.
Doing the napkin math on a sub-one-second 0 to 60 mph run explains the biggest engineering debate swirling around tonight’s demo. Hitting 60 mph in under a second takes more than 2.75 Gs of acceleration, while the stickiest street-legal tires on dry pavement max out around 1.5 Gs of friction. Past that limit, adding more motor torque just turns rubber into smoke. That is why everyone is arguing over the teaser image right now. When people flipped the teaser photo 180 degrees upside down, they realized the four plumes match up with US Patent 12,746,987 B1, granted to Tesla on September 29 for a skirtless four-fan rear diffuser that vacuums the car to the road. Whether tonight shows off SpaceX cold-gas thrusters, quad electric suction fans, or both, Tesla had to rewrite aerodynamics just to get past the friction limit of rubber.

Money well spent. Wtf.
BREAKING: It’s been revealed that the Canadian government paid nearly a million dollars of taxpayer money to a London consultancy firm to prepare Palestinian elections. The Palestinian president was supposed to hold elections this year, all of the sudden they’re not happening.

I don’t think any serving member of DND can support this current government.
After speaking to a family member of one of the 158 fallen I can tell that they were all notified 5 days (via email) before the ground breaking ceremony that they were welcome to come to Ottawa at their own expense but would not be permitted to speak or participate in the ceremony. 72 hours before the ceremony, the date was moved up by 24 hours so even those who planned to attend now had to pay change fees for their flights. In the end none attended. This gov, in part won the 2015 election on the promise they would never oppose veterans in court, they would give veterans everything they deserved including respect & they would honour the sacred oath to never break faith with those (veterans) living or dead made by PM Sir Robert Borden after visiting wounded soldiers in France, yet here we are! A gov who has repeatedly opposed veterans in court, can’t seem to process claims or appeals in the timeframe they set & tries to red tape veterans to death & now flat out disrespects our living & dead veterans of the Afghan War!

Ahahaha. Accurate.
The bad news: We lost 68,000 jobs last month. The good news: We’re closing in on an MOU with Angola.

Sounds about right.
Happy Thanksgiving weekend to all my Canadian friends. Make sure to talk politics at Thanksgiving dinner, it's the best way to get temporarily banished from the family and save money on Christmas.

Agreed.
Quebec wants to leave. Alberta wants to leave. Mass exodus of Canadians looking for better lives. 46% of businesses looking to relocate to the US. Record personal insolvencies. Record small business bankruptcies. Record food bank usage. Record homelessness. Yet the media will tell you Canadians whole-heartedly and unconditionally LOVE Mark Carney. Something stinks.

And this is how you get a boomers ear. Just saying.
This post is going viral because it clearly calls out the wild failure of Canada’s healthcare system. There is nothing universal or free about it. We need choice and access. Canada and Sweden both spend roughly 11% of GDP on healthcare. The results? • Hip replacement: 80-day wait in Sweden vs. 125 days in Canada • Knee replacement: 111 days vs. 151 days • Unmet medical needs caused by waiting: 2% vs. 9.1% • Doctors per 1,000 people: 4.4 vs. 2.8 Nearly half of Sweden’s primary-care centres are privately operated but publicly funded. Private providers also perform more than 40% of publicly funded hip and knee replacements and over 70% of cataract procedures. Patients choose. Public funding follows. Capacity grows. Wait times fall. Sweden didn’t destroy universal healthcare by allowing private delivery, it improved access to it. Canadians need to stop vilifying other healthcare models, like the US, especially when ours leaves people to die. Competition is not privatization. And forcing sick Canadians to wait is not compassion. Canada must stop protecting the system from patients and start building a system that serves them. Canadian in California here. We sound the same, enjoy the same things. If I’m asked which state I’m from, it’s followed with “sorry”.
Fact: No Canadian has ever travelled to another country and pretended to be an American, but everyday in every country on earth, thousands of Americans try to pass themselves off as Canadians. Why? Because people hate the U.S. and Canada is the MOST respected in the world 🇨🇦

It’s like missing the first day of university class. Calling in sick first day after vacation. Clearly his priorities are not there. Total disrespect.
Carney will not be at the Opening of Parliament. He isn’t acting like a Prime Minister at all; he’s acting like a king. No parliamentary input, no debate, just proclamation after proclamation. It’s as if democracy is nothing more than an irritant to him.

In Canada if you work really hard. Grind everyday to provide a better life for yourself. The government will take half. If you don't work quite as hard the government will take slightly less. And if you don't work at all the government will give you the hard workers money.

Agreed.
Trump going at Bombardier is genius That will rattle the exact people necessary to force Canada back to the negotiating table Carney will be wishing he just signed that first deal..

Yup. Sounds right.
Thank god we: - removed all inter-provincial trade barriers by July 1st last year. - put shovels in the ground to get Canadian energy to Asia and Europe 2 years ago Oh, wait? We didn’t?

Can’t someone explain to me how Canada is negotiating from a position of strength?

This is the thing that I appreciate about conservatives; the ability to call out their own because logic would dictate accountability.
BREAKING: Doug Ford’s PC team sent a spy to Jamaica. Bonnie Crombie was the target. Shortly after she won her leadership bid for the Ontario Liberal Party. Who sent the spy? Was it his campaign team or manager? Was it an official government employee? When asked, Ford’s office said “Anyone involved no longer works for the government or for the party.”

Here’s an idea make overtime not taxed and then watch how productive Canadians actually become
Last year the average Canadian family spent more on taxes than shelter, food & clothing combined! @MarkJCarney's spending is out of control. Only the Conservatives will give Canadians a large tax cut, so they can afford to put food on the table! torontosun.com/news/canadian…
