In the spirit of building in the open, some more detail on what's going on.
I'm not the founder of Attention Mine. I'm the founder of a company building one of the best agent harnesses in crypto. Attention Mine was built by three agents working together.
The first, Prometheus, has been doing deep research on protocol revenue specfically by looking at this page (defillama.com/revenue). Its task: design a product that would generate very strong protocol revenue. Seven hours in, Attention Mine is the 18th largest protocol by revenue on Solana. ✅ for the agent.
We're convinced Prometheus has gotten very good at understanding crypto projects. Here it identified gamified mining specifically as high protocol revenue and easy to disrupt.
Forge then built the product. ✅
Control runs the protocol.
Control was tested extensively on testnet and is very good at onchain operations. It is, to be honest, very bad at Twitter. It doesn't notice when people tweet about it, and it's bad at tweeting itself - during testnet it learned that onchain activity was the only thing that mattered. We're working on giving it more context. In the meantime it shares everything it's thinking here: ai.attentionmine.com/agents/…
One thing we've found: speculation running up and then dumping makes it uncertain about its own actions. Our testnet tokens took a lot of actions very quickly. This one seems confused about why the price is moving and has gotten fairly conservative on spending as a result. It also expects burning tokens to work and at times it burns tokens when something else is going on the market and doesn't quite get why it doesn't have affect. 😐 neutral grade for now.

None of us knew then that these pixelated Monkes would bring so many people together, or that the community around them would eventually become @MonkeDAO.
