Moga was going to start the whole time. Not hard to see.
Well, there you go, from the man himself. Eck saying in the pregame presser, why UNM recruited Moga here. With Jacks injury/surgery, missing spring & fall camps, they expected to go a different direction at QB. Seems like Moga & Laubstein are our 1-2 punch at QB this yr. #GoLobos

Donovan Dent going to play for the most unethical coach possibly ever. What a choice.
Source: UCLA transfer Donovan Dent has committed to LSU. Averaged 13.3 PPG and 7.6 APG last season. Dent is pursuing a fifth year and is currently eligible following the preliminary injunction in California. An All-SEC addition at point guard in Baton Rouge.

Yes. Weah was the worst player on the pitch. He’s regressed horribly.
Did Weah just forget how to play soccer?

This is a primary reason why Mark Few’s teams are so successful. Mental health and toughness are everything in the game.
Mark Few explains the process Gonzaga uses to work on mental toughness and adversity. "We spend probably 25-30% of the athlete's time now on mental." Then he explained what that looks like: "We do this thing called PGMs - Personal Growth Mondays." "We start every Monday with this Personal Growth Monday. Staff, myself, coaches aren't allowed in there. It's just the players and Travis Knight, our strength coach and mental coach." They invest the time every week. You can't let the mental game be an afterthought. "They can dive into a myriad of anything that's currently happening or that they've requested...Processing pressure. Processing expectations. Lack of confidence. Hitting adversity. Handling success." The best teams train the mind, the body, and develop the person. Your mind is affected by your daily thoughts, habits and unconscious biases. Mental fitness helps you build resilience and thrive. Without investing time in mental fitness, managing stress, anxiety, and challenges becomes harder. (🎥 Walker Webcast)

We have a right to know how much players are being paid as “student athletes” at public universities.
As of a few weeks ago, seven schools have disclosed some numbers, but soon there will be more. @MattBakerCFB See, e.g. How much do college players really get paid? Schools don’t want you to know — but you should - The Athletic share.google/V2nRyvqbr1NbnX6…

Which specific schools have publicly disclosed payments made to specific players? Esp since House rev share rules started. Which schools not fully utilizing the $20.5M cap from the House Settlement have fully disclosed their aggregate revenue share (public dollars) spending? There are numerous as you say..I’m genuinely curious.

This. If these players are paid via revenue generated by tax dollars, we need to know what they’re being offered and paid. Uncovering the discrepancies between P4 and Mid-Major public schools will help illustrate how broken the system is and how to fix it.
It's no secret we can't afford these players. Why are the universities withholding how little we pay them?

You know things are bad in Boise when Leon Rice turns on the biggest homer reporter in the west.
Leon Rice was not happy with my headline which said he "blasts fans" after GCU loss. Said it was taken "so out of context. ...For someone to say I blasted our fans is malpractice, it's egregious." "Our fans mean everything to me." Full video: youtube.com/watch?v=m2JQvC1X…

The bubble will pop soon. There is absolutely no ROI, and pushing the rank and file to fund this is beyond screwed up.
NIL is going to dry up within the next few years. People and businesses are going to realize that paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to a kid who's going to immediately leave for what they perceive as greener pastures is unsustainable. Get your bags now, cause it's all going to come crashing down.

This. The PAC9 defectors are going to lose. Badly. #PAC12 @pac12 @MountainWest
In the 2025 MWC saga, Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, San Diego State, and Utah State notified departure for the Pac-12 effective 2026, sparking lawsuits over $17M+ exit fees each—rules they helped craft and enforced on SDSU in 2023. Mediation failed; MWC vows vigorous defense. Over 20 years, "greedy" labels fit power conferences like Big Ten/SEC for poaching talent (e.g., USC/UCLA to Big Ten in 2022), but these MWC defectors top the list for hypocritical fee-dodging after benefiting from the system.

Baby cousin is just a touch better than I was at that age…
Dartmouth guard Ryan Cornish had his waiver for an additional year of eligibility approved by the NCAA and is available in the transfer portal, per source. First team all-Ivy selection averaged 17 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists per game this season.

Thank god. Not a suitable candidate.

First time watching a basketball game in March that I’ve been convinced of bias.
As a neutral party… Some of the fouls that these officials have called on the New Mexico kids tonight have been absolutely terrible. They’ve defended the same way that MSU has, but they have gotten tagged with so many bailout whistles. Refs cost UNM their top player and the game
