How do you want to learn programming in the age of AI?
Programming should be accessible and nearly free. So how do we do it when writing "Hello World" in node costs $20/mo?

I actually wish AI agents were more self aware.
Agent fixing an AI program: Gosh, there's already a process taking up the majority VRAM, so you only have 3GB available. Such a strange occurrence. I'll have to find a workaround.
Me: YOU'RE TAKING UP THE VRAM, YOU IDIOT!
It's so fascinating that there's a small span of a couple decades where people are computer literate.
Boomers grew up before home PCs.
Meanwhile Gen Alpha (and some gen Z) mostly use smartphones.
Only a small segment primarily uses PCs.

🎉Looking forward to a new position I'll be starting this week. AI Operations and Enablement Lead at HFO.
Basically means I'll be getting them up to speed on the latest tech, especially AI.
AI isn't going to take our jobs.
Our 2-party system is already doing a pretty good job of that.
Unless we actually do something to create rapid job growth, there's soon not going to be any jobs for AI to take.
Hot take: folks who are glib about how no one has created an AWS competitor with Claude have no idea how IaaS was build, nor how code LLMs can best be utilized.
Me replying on Twitter: "Yes, I like your take on the matter."
Twitter: "WOULD YOU LIKE TO UPGRADE TO PRO?"
I'm seeing a surging interest in Linux lately. Windows/Mac users who "tried it, didn't like it," are now truly giving it a go.
Where's this surge coming from?
Odd how so many people are pro-tech + anti-AI. The entire original idea of a computer was to supplement what a human could do: AI is the true manifestation of what the founders of CS envisioned.
Are there issues currently w/ AI? Of course. But let's not throw out all of CS.
What food can make you a better developer?
- Tacos
- The pepperoni stick you forgot you had in the trunk that you put there for a beach trip in 2006
When you're in a heat wave but still have to put your GPU to work... 🥵
Trust me, I love heat waves, but sitting next to an oven isn't that fun.
Employers: at the end of the day, family is really what matters. ❤️
Also employers: How weak and coddled does an 18-year-old have to be to bring their mom to an interview! 🤬
Honestly I've gotten more excitement from a ham sandwich and La Croix lunch than any Marvel movie. Not just pre-phase whatever. Every Marvel movie has felt frustratingly safe.
