I'm thinking Church Bells by the Lemon Twigs is a nod to Big Star's Jesus Christ. 'Ring, ring goes the bell', has echo of Little Donkey, 'Ring out those bells tonight'. Listen and see! Either way, both great songs. Maybe not conscious? @thelemontwigs @BigStarBand

Tomorrow! Live Rockabilly!
A vintage rock & roll sound with origins in 1950s southern US music, popularised by likes of Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley & Jerry Lee Lewis.
