In yet another historical first by the nation that the White House is allocating all resources to destroy, Ukraine's 30th Mechanized Brigade has successfully evacuated a wounded soldier from the battlefield using a drone.
Ukrainian forces used an unmanned system to bring their injured soldier to safety.
All this innovation, now in the defense of democracy - this is what the U.S. aims to hand to Moscow, in exchange for cash into Trump family coffers.
Zelensky pushed back against Trump’s claim that Kyiv does not want to end the war, saying Russia has rejected ceasefire efforts.
The statement followed a Russian overnight assault involving 16 ballistic missiles and more than 200 drones.

Russia launched a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv, killing one person, Ukraine’s emergency service said. Mayor Vitali Klitschko said the victim was a 21-year-old woman. Eight others were injured.
Damage was reported in at least three districts of the city, including a metro station shown in the footage.

Since the American President announced the energy ceasefire a week ago, Russia has deliberately attacked Ukraine’s energy and oil and gas sectors 76 times. Last night alone, there were strikes on substations in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, and Odesa regions. Tens of thousands of families remain without power. Energy workers and repair crews are working virtually around the clock to restore electricity supply. Overnight, the Russians also struck residential buildings in our regions. As of now, 12 people have been reported injured, including two children. Two people have been killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones. This morning, there was a strike on an agricultural enterprise in Volyn. All necessary services are working at the site.
In total, over this past week, the Russians have attacked Ukraine with almost 2,700 attack drones, 1,700 aerial bombs, and 66 missiles, most of them ballistic. The main targets of these strikes are energy facilities – the Russians are trying to cause a blackout. And America should see that Russia is not taking any reciprocal steps in response to sanctions relief or agreements. On the contrary, they take every signal of an opportunity to make money as proof that their bet on war is paying off and they can keep fighting. It is because of this position of Russia’s that the war continues, not because Ukraine is rightfully defending itself. It is Russia that must face pressure for peace to have a chance. Thank you to everyone who understands this and helps.

I met in Kyiv with a team from the American defense company Lockheed Martin, which helps us save lives. Its Patriot systems and F-16 aircraft play an important role in defending against Russian ballistic missiles and jet-powered “shaheds.” And things are not easy with either right now. We discussed how we can expand and increase supplies. The company is currently ramping up production of ballistic missile interceptors. We count on the opportunity to purchase some of them to protect more lives. We are also trying to do everything possible to ensure that F-16 maintenance and repairs are carried out in Ukraine. Thank you for the meeting. It is important that Lockheed Martin has a presence in Ukraine. We are doing everything on our part to expand our partnership.

❗️On the night of October 18, an unsuccessful arson attempt took place in Lithuania at a facility housing a Starlink ground station with nine antennas providing connectivity for Ukraine. The perpetrators tried to set fire to the antennas and the control unit, leaving behind flammable liquids in canisters. This is already the third similar attack on Starlink stations in Europe within a month — following incidents in Poland (September 23) and Bulgaria (around October 10). Lithuanian authorities, including Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius, link the incident to Russia’s hybrid war and sabotage activities against Europe and support for Ukraine.

🇺🇦 Zelenskyy delivers a blunt message to the United States:
“Just give us Starlink back. If you refuse, Ukraine will survive. We will continue defending ourselves with or without it.
But why would you restrict a country fighting for its survival? Why make it harder for us to defend our people?
I simply cannot understand the reasoning behind this decision. It is a mistake.”
Ukraine isn’t asking America to fight its war. It’s asking America not to stand in the way of its defense.

I held a coordination call on the situation in Ukraine's regions following another wave of Russian attacks. Unfortunately, 28 substations and other critical energy facilities were hit. Restoration work is underway everywhere, and electricity is gradually being restored to people. I am grateful to every repair crew and everyone working for energy companies.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine reported on preparing infrastructure for the heating season. We outlined in detail the key areas requiring attention from government agencies and energy companies, as well as regional and local authorities. Ukraine's Minister of Defense, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Presidential Office team have been given urgent tasks regarding contacts with partners who can swiftly strengthen our air defense. There are political agreements that have not been implemented at the working level. There are also delays in certain types of vital supplies at the level of the U.S. Department of War. This evening, we will hold an additional meeting to review the results of all the contacts that must take place throughout the day. I expect concrete results.
Together with the Minister of Defense, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the Commander of the Air Force, we set additional production capacity for turrets, which have proven highly effective against “shaheds.” We are increasing orders, and it is important to accelerate every process as much as possible – organizational, financial, and production-related. Instructions have been given to engage with the Baltic states on support for our logistics. I expect a report from Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on this.
There was also a separate report from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on information received from units using Starlink/Starshield services. Unfortunately, we have established that the equipment stops functioning at speeds of 130–161 kilometers per hour in various sectors of the front. This is slowing down our frontline logistics and limiting the use of various types of drones, particularly mid-strike drones and interceptors of jet-powered “shaheds.” This must be raised again with our partners at every level today – speed matters when it comes to protecting lives. I thank everyone who is helping! Glory to Ukraine!

President Zelenskyy:
Ukraine never wanted this war, and we have welcomed literally EVERY attempt by our partners to bring it to a just and dignified end. We have responded positively to EVERY ceasefire proposal.
Ballistic missiles, Shahed drones, and killings are Russia’s repeated response.
Putin does not want to end this war - he does not even want to take any steps toward de-escalation. EVERY one of our partners has experienced this firsthand when Russia refused.
It is crucial to call things by their proper names: call the aggressor an aggressor and help Ukraine protect lives.
When supplies of missiles for Ukraine’s air defense are blocked while Russia receives sanctions relief or postponements, this unfortunately amounts to a denial of reality by our partners.
The reality is that the war continues, and it continues solely because of Russian strikes and Russia’s desire to prolong it.
Thank you to everyone who acknowledges reality and helps Ukraine!
