The oldest @OED definition I found is in the 1992 Pocket Oxford Dictionary of Current English. I would be really interested in the earliest possible definition, where the internet claims it was described as a "theoretical concept" #Reserach #Mythbusting #VR (2/2)

First assembly of my "Dueling Couch #Pinball" prototype made entirely from #wood and #3dprinted parts (besides the rubbers). With this setup I want to check the positioning for further elements (slingshots, bumpers etc). Wood is still raw and will be stained. #Arcade #DIY

Someone noticed that when you have hundreds / thousands of cores in a supercomputer, the individual utilization boxes in Task Manager start to look like pixels. People started making pictures by doing different amounts of work on specific processors. It escalated quickly.

My university just announced that it’s dumping Blackboard, and there was much rejoicing. Why is Blackboard universally reviled? There’s a standard story of why "enterprise software" sucks. If you’ll bear with me, I think this is best appreciated by talking about… baby clothes!

The wheel is a @LogitechG G27 wheel base with a raid wheel that's attached using a 3d printed adapter and a DIY button box. The G27 shifter was modded for sequential use. Pedals are inverted CSR Elite by @fanatec The game is #DirtRally by @Codemasters
