Keep those bat signals up!
Our episode on Batman and Robin is on its way to you this weekend.
(Please just don’t comment on the state of the laptop…)
Just a reminder ADHD can be debilitating- people with ADHD have a 90% higher risk of death by suicide compared to those without the condition. Individuals with ADHD are roughly 2 to 4.5 times more likely to experience suicidal thoughts than neurotypical peers,

Gross. Lateral ableism is not a good look.
Turning on fellow disabled people will not stop the system of oppression from coming for you eventually.
Why did I bother going into the comments…
ADHD is a disability. Access to a disabled railcard is reasonable.
If you’re not sure why an ADHD person may benefit from this, take some time to research the reasons why ADHD is considered a disability.

A lot of ignorant bollocks flying around on here tonight about the Disabled Persons Railcard being available to neurodivergent people. I’m autistic, but I won’t qualify for one because (and I don’t need or want one) I can’t demonstrate that being autistic significantly affects my ability to travel by train and so I can’t get the necessary form signed by a medical professional. It’s not ‘tick a box and instantly get a third off rail travel’ for fuck’s sake.

Actually, different salaries should only affect how luxurious your life is, not your food quality or ability to afford rent. If you work 40 hours at any job, your income should be enough to live in the town you work in. Thinking otherwise is an abysmal indicator of your humanity

My date of birth feels like a celebrity to me. Whenever I see it written somewhere random, like on a movie poster or a milk carton, I'm like omg there she is! Ugh, she looks great :)
Is it just me that actually enjoys when a film mixes it up with tone? Feel like ‘settling on’ or ‘choosing’ a tone is a common complaint that I just think forces films into a box. I’m on board with tonal whiplash!

A fantastic night seeing Clayface courtesy of @WarnerBrosUK tonight.
Not a spoiler to say we loved it, but catch our new episode on Wednesday for our full thoughts.
Followed next week by another DC classic on our list, Batman and Robin!

it's been instructive this decade that most of the people who shriek about disabled people seeking basic accommodations as some kind of hypersensitive crybabies actually cannot tolerate the slightest inconvenience themselves and it's just that they see their lives as more valid
This is literally how Nazi Germany framed disabled people as ‘an intolerable financial burden on the national community.
Replying to @tonyrandall37
The system creates a ‘benefits’ class; the unproductive paid for by the productive and a massive debt burden.

WTF do members of the general public know about ADHD and autism?
Unless they are personally affected, or have someone close to them who is, they know absolutely nothing.
So what the hell is the point of this poll?
It is simply a device to create division.

No wonder, as the media has been pumping out bullshit stories about Autism and ADHD for over a year now. – at Winsford, England

UK ; We can't afford to have all these people with ADHD not working and claiming benefits;
ADHD community; okay, so are you going to provide us with better access to NHS care, improved access to medication and ramp up support services?
UK; no, we also think you shouldn't be supported by the NHS because it's too expensive.
ADHD community ; okay, so what if we spend our own money to go private, and obtain support that way?
UK; we won't recognise the private diagnosis and you'll have to sit on a year's long waiting list.
ADHD community; well, what about supporting us in employment, so we are able to support ourselves, by providing reasonable adjustments and supportive working environments?
UK; Businesses don't want to employ you because we let the media call you all lazy and workshy, so that's going to be difficult
ADHD community; Well, what do you expect us to do?!
UK; Not our problem

I’m devastated. not only bc I love Breaking Bad, but bc suicide is so rampant in the disabled community. social support is dissolving, slurs abound, support for institutionalization is growing, masks are mocked, mobility aid use is met w/ skepticism, etc.
I hope he’s found peace
