"Beautiful. Dangerous. A reptile in black leather" 🔥
Might be one of the most delicious descriptions of Sauron yet
Very excited to see Charlie's performance as he peels back another layer of Sauron
Charlie Vickers and ‘Rings of Power’ showrunners J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay are breaking down a fiery season 3 scene in which Sauron tries — and fails — to create the One Ring. ew.com/rings-of-power-season…
Always stop at every book stall at a market, because you never know when you'll find a lovely copy of Tolkien's translations

Yeah just a casual 4 hours and 45 minutes of audio to edit, can't imagine why I ever got burnt out doing the podcast
3 hours into recording the podcast, and still having only covered 50 seconds of the trailer, @myelessar's internet was literally shut off by lightning strikes. Even mother nature doesn't want the podcast to come back 💔

Only a month late but we're finally going to record the podcast tomorrow. For anyone still interested, drop any questions or topics for us to discuss about the S3 trailer/promo in the replies 💛
Just a quick PSA as I've had a few people contact me about this: I don't know if I'll bring the podcast back full-time, but at @myelessar's encouragement we are going to try and record one talking about the trailer. Aiming to release late next week or after, but no promises 🙏

This was insane actually. Having Sauron use soft caresses to torture poor Celebrimbor. I loved it
Not Tolkien related but I just watched The Mad King play at the RSC, and it might be one of the best pieces of adaptation I've ever seen. Delighted for Martin that he finally has an ASOIAF adaptation that shows such love and appreciation for his writing 👏

Interesting little snippet of the Balrog & Sauron's dialogue:
B: "Crawl back to your world above"
S: "[You hide your] true majesty under that frail cloak of shadow ruled by its dismal beauty - you have forgotten what you are."
This is how you feel when your partner brings you to meet their friends for the first time
Here's the exclusive look at the Balrog (voiced by Simon Pegg) and the other creatures featured in The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power Season 3 that was revealed at Comic-Con: bit.ly/45aAlff

After Adar's use of the Quenya form of Galadriel's name, I shall be calling the writers cowards if they don't have her refer to Celeborn as Telporno even once 🤷♂️
