SEM court ordered the release of Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders, after their judicial custody ended.
They were held under preventive detention after allegedly entering the de-notified Jantar Mantar site while waving the Tricolour, following earlier peace bonds.
Saw the video of Rajnandgaon SP Ankita Sharma firing an AK-47 after Shastra Puja.
The way she’s handling the rifle - swinging it around with people standing right there - doesn’t look safe at all. Aerial firing always carries a risk, and basic weapon handling drills clearly weren’t followed.
Legally, since she’s an IPS officer using a police weapon during an official event at police lines, a criminal case under the Arms Act is unlikely.
At most, it could be looked at under service conduct rules for “conduct unbecoming” No inquiry or action has been reported so far though.
Tradition or not, this kind of display needs better safety standards.

Bittu Tabahi spent 8 months alone cleaning Ajnar River in Madhya Pradesh with his own hands.
He removed tonnes of plastic, faced infections, and finally made it look clean.
One month later the locals polluted it again with plastic, flowers and waste.
In the video you can see:
• The cleaner river he left behind
• The same stretch filled with garbage again
• His face when he realises 8 months of hard work is gone
He has already started cleaning it for the second time.
This is not just one river. This is the reality of most rivers in India. Individual heroes keep cleaning. Society keeps dumping.

The Roadster just left the ground on thrusters. Once it does, does it stop being a road car and become an aircraft?
Government says anything leaving the surface falls under aviation rules.
Elon said he’s not sure it’s legal everywhere “depends on your street.”
Which version can people drive on public roads, and which is only for private tracks?
because right now the flying one looks incredible and completely unusable at the same time.

Delhi’s Special Executive Magistrate Court has remanded Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) activists Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka to 5 days’ judicial custody.
They were placed under preventive arrest after allegedly scaling locked gates and entering Jantar Mantar on 13 October - a day after the site was de-notified as a designated protest venue. Police have cited trespass, violation of a recent peace bond, and obstruction of public servants.
The two, along with others, unfurled the national flag and raised slogans demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. A third activist, Ajinkya Shinde, was released on a personal bond.
History shows campus leaders rarely stay outside forever once useful.
Neha Bora, who moves both the street and the cameras, rarely stays pure for long.
She already mobilises people on the ground and holds media attention better than most full-time politicians.
She has shared stages with Rahul Gandhi and other leaders-stages almost never temporary optics.
That’s the combination Congress has historically sought for a younger face with independent credibility.
The question isn’t whether Congress will try to absorb her, but whether she’ll accept the trade-offs.
I think she eventually will.
Kapil Sibal says he’s tired of the Supreme Court and has lost trust after months of arguing wrongful voter deletions with zero relief.
When a veteran lawyer doubts if the court can still protect our Constitution, it forces a hard pause. 🇮🇳
"Tired of going to the Supreme Court again and again, I don't feel there is any use of going to the Supreme Court, I have lost trust,"- Sr Adv Kapil Sibal.
"We go to the Court, but I don't know if we will get any relief. The people of the country feel that this Government should go. If anybody can save the Constitution in these times, it is the Supreme Court of India. But I am tired of keeping on going to the Supreme Court. I am speaking for myself. I don't think there is any use of going there. I don't have much trust in the Supreme Court of India. Whatever has to happen, will happen."
"We told the Supreme Court many times that the voters' names are being wrongly deleted and wrongly included, we argued for months. The evidence is before the public. And the appellate tribunals now say 93% of the voters were wrongly removed. So the Supreme Court must have known. But no relief was given. So I am speaking for myslef, I don't have [faith]" - @KapilSibal says.
If Dhruv Rathee, a well-known YouTuber with millions of followers - can be picked up from his home by plainclothes men while sleeping and held for nearly 23 hours without a lawyer, what chance does an ordinary aam aadmi have?
How is this allowed?
Video from today’s Delhi protests shows a few people physically confronting and striking young protesters (including a girl) in public while police nearby do not immediately intervene.
Violence against minors or anyone on the street is illegal. Authorities should identify and act against those responsible, regardless of politics.
The Olympics comments are a perfect example of how the internet now processes any Indian news. Default mode is either “this will be historic” or “this will be a disaster.” Nuance gets zero reach.
