On Aug 12–13, Daemon Protocol joined Indonesia Blockchain Week with our own booth, connecting with builders, investors, and teams across the blockchain ecosystem. We also took the stage at Pitching Royale to share what we’re building: a Decision Intelligence Operating System Great conversations, valuable feedback, and new connections throughout the event. Huge thanks to @IDBWOfficial for bringing the ecosystem together, and @SuperteamID for supporting Daemon along the way. See you at the next one. The One Who Knows More Wins.

data independence isn't something you get from agents, it's a prerequisite you have to pay for before agents are worth building. Most organizations discover this in the wrong order, they build the agent, it works on the demo dataset, and then it meets a production schema that has eleven years of accumulated compromises in it.

Without data independence, it's like ordering by saying, "Get the jar on the second shelf from the left." Once the shelf is moved, your order is messed up even though the coffee is still there.

You order coffee from the barista. You say "coffee with milk." You don't need to know what brand the coffee machine is, where the sugar is stored, or whether the kitchen was renovated yesterday.Even if the kitchen is completely changed, your orders will still go through.

Meet Rade (@XBT_kw). Blockchain data is hard to read at the depth forensics needs, and since AI arrived, new security cases have been opening faster than most teams can work through them. What he built is @DaemonProtocol: a decision intelligence layer running a multi-agent system. It pulls blockchain data into one shared language through an ontology system, then forecasts what a given address does next. Watch his story to the end. #flexyourbuild

Automation without understanding is just faster mistakes. As AI agents become more capable, the real challenge isn't what they can do. It's what governs their decisions. Excited to share how we're approaching this at Superteam Indonesia Ecosystem Call this Thursday.

Everyone is racing to build AI for investigations. The conversation usually revolves around larger models, more agents, and more automation. But there's a more fundamental question that doesn't get asked often enough. What does the AI actually understand?

6/ Large language models are incredibly good at generating answers. But they are fundamentally probabilistic. Without a shared operational model, they're forced to infer relationships from text alone. Ontology gives AI something different. A structured understanding of entities, relationships, constraints, and context that every analyst and every workflow can reason from consistently.

7/ As more organizations evaluate AI for investigations, the most important question may not be: "Does this platform use AI?" A better question is: "What operational model does its AI reason from?" Because better decisions rarely come from having more data. They come from having a better understanding of how that data relates.
