𝙎𝙤... 𝙎𝙚𝙖 𝙤𝙛 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙨? 🏴‍☠️ I started playing Sea of Thieves in early 2019 and is a game which I consider, overall, my favourite game of all time. It's also my most played game in terms of hours (Over 4.4k). I used to mainly play solo causing chaos, and would often hop open crew, or join lfg posts in an attempt to find cool new people to game with... I met some incredible people this way, and formed some amazing bonds.👌 Fast forward to 2021 where I became more aware of Sea of Thieves on social media... It was the only reason as to why I ever joined Twitter (Now 𝕏), as all I wanted to do was take part in SoTShot competitions as a new challenge and bag myself, in my opinion, the best sails in the game... Never did I imagine I would go on to be a part of 11 winning SoTShots, form some incredible friendships, and achieve so much more. 🤯🧡 #SoTShot really did blossom my love for taking screenshots in games, and is something I very much still enjoy doing. 😊 I very quickly got so immersed in the amazing SoTShot/SoT Twitter community, and found myself so content, as I felt I really had somewhere where I felt valued and comfortable. I will always be incredibly grateful to @SeaOfThieves for hosting official contests, which provided me with the opportunity to make so many new gaming friends 🧡 However, as some people will have noticed, I have found myself playing less and less SoT over the last year or so... and there are multiple reasons for that. First and main reason being is that the instability of servers and buggy gameplay has left me feeling frustrated and made playing no longer enjoyable... (Can't play a single session without experiencing some form of gamebreaking bug, or experiencing server lag) 😔 Hand to hand combat has taken a MASSIVE step backward with the 'Combat Improvements', and is too clunky to be considered fun anymore... I'm no hardcore PvPer, but I do enjoy organic fights on SoT, which now are just absolutely awful to take part in 😖 I also feel that having played for so long, that my expectations for the game far exceed what has been delivered by updates we have received. And that is really nobodies fault. So... what now? I have been enjoying playing other games, and honestly feel like I no longer want to entertain the thought, nor pretend to want to play SoT any longer. Up until now I had been desperately clinging on to the game that I USED to love, in hopes I would enjoy it again, but it seems as though I may never get that love I once had for the game, back 💔 I will also be stopping posting anything SoT related to this account or my other socials. (I will be posting ONE FINAL #SoTShotSelection post at the end of the current SoTShot theme) 📸 Always loved making those posts... and I know some people like seeing them too 🥲 Does that mean i'll never play SoT again? Not necessarily. I do still have some plans for SoT in the future, which may or may not play out how I wish... but we'll see how it all goes. I want to thank anyone who takes the time out of their day to read this, as I know this is a bit long-winded, but was something I really needed to share with you all. GGs... it was a fun adventure, being a goofy Pirate made of pixels 🏴‍☠️ Much love, DRIPP 👊🧡 #SeaOfThieves #Goodbye?
